By s y Go To Postbran deadass planned this whole thing lmaoBruh exactly that's why he was such a smug ass. Dude played everyone like a fiddle.
Those are good endings to the characters I guess, Dany and every non white person got treated like hot garbage tho
Did Jon just say fuck the wall and went with the wildings?
lmao
Well everything up to Dany's death was good at least. Her death scene was great, and Kit Harrington probably brought his best acting forward this episode--you can tell he was really broken. It's a shame his character was shackled by "honor" the whole series.
Other half of the episode was fanfic bullshit. The North gets to be on its own because reasons? As if every other nation hasn't already bent the knee to some bullshit? Particularly Dorne? The chances that they'd allow the North to be independent AND stick a Stark on the throne are actually literally zero. George won't write that, or at least not with those houses being present for the decision. And Tyrion even being alive was insulting, much less being listened to and essentially deciding the king for himself given nobody else would have put his name forward. It was fucking dumb. And Greyworm letting both Jon and Tyrion live was dumb as well.
Bran comes off as having known what would happen and basically willingly sacrificed kings landing to get on the throne too. Sequel could easily write itself if George wasn't 70 with two books to still write.

i think the way everything ended was fine, but as usual the way it got there was unbelievably trash
i'd watch a movie about arya exploring the new world

the endings are all tight and satisfying, i fully believe GRRM told them all of these ages ago
problem was the journey there was hot garbage, D&D knew the ending they needed to do but not how to put everything together in a logical chain of events because GRRM has not done so either

By Flutter Go To PostWord is this is the ending GRR Martin intended.
If he writes that conclusion then Iโm sure he does it in a way that makes sense
I'm pretty sure George intended to write a sequel or side story, but he's too old now.
Biggest reason I say so is Arya's sailing west--if you read Fire and Blood, there's shit straight from Berserk out there. And Drogon snatching Dany's body is really suspect as well.

By Xpike Go To PostArya's sailing is a reference to Nymeria, once again, a good appropiate ending
Eh there's kind of a connection? The sailing is about it. Arya has shown no interest in being a leader.

grey worm got done so dirty, jon was just given the title of king beyond the wall for free
I was completely satisfied by that. I did not expect and ending that was uplifting and hopeful for the future.
I don't think Jon is king beyond the wall or anything--he just went ranging and the wildlings respect him and are free to do whatever they want. So they are just following him.
...which kind of sets things up perfectly for him to get stabbed in the back again by his nights watch brothers but aite

That was pure unadultered trash. I recognize the actors faces but these are not the same people we've been watching for a decade and it has nothing to do with character progression.
legit think that the nights watch doesnt exist anymore and they just told the unsullied and dorhraki he'd be exiled to get them to leave
why would it exist if the white walkers are completely done and the wildings and other tribes in the far north are allowed free passsage through the wall now

I mean even Ned doesn't believe in white walkers in the beginning of the series and the nights watch is still a thing.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI mean even Ned doesn't believe in white walkers in the beginning of the series and the nights watch is still a thing.yeah but before the nights watch was also used to prevent wildings and other magical creatures to pass south, they don't care about that anymroe so
i love how bran don't even acknowledge jon's simp ass lmao. bran just..... sure. fuck it. whatever.
my feelings can be summed up as "whatever" but i'd check out an arya spin off i guess. dany/dragon intro was straight up anime. lol @ horse theories too btw. lol @ yara and random af ppl showing up at the voting session. lol @ tyrion getting to wear the main protagonist plot armor for the final ep. lol @ brienne still seeing the good in him. lol @ 'independent north' like okay - that's an option for everyone did yal not know? #smartestpersoniknow

Tyrion one scene mourning the loss of Cersei
Tyrion one scene calling Cersei an evil woman
Tyrion one scene commits treason
Tyrion one scene becomes trusted hand of the King while Bronn gets ahold of the pocket book

By Smokey Go To PostI'll never understand why they rushed this to be 6 episodes
Disney money was calling and D&D weren't finna miss a payout. HBO trusted them completely and I guess for good reason because they helped the show print money.
Night King's reasons for wanting to kill Bran at all cost justified. This nigga was plotting to rule everything.
Oh and look there's a random ass Tully asking to be King
Heard you want to know about what the Arryn's been up to

Ser Davos this entire season:
"Wait a minute this doesn't make sense"
"Why are we here?"
"We shouldn't be doing this"
"This isn't right"
"I'm not sure I am supposed to be here"
I swear, Davos's staff writer was breaking the fourth wall this entire time.
