Ajax had to score there. Wow. They've had a few moments where they're like in slow motion in the final third lately.
By Frustrated_me Go To PostSpurs are doing something different this half but I can't quite put my finger on it.Quicker, more direct is my guess.
Certainly playing better on the flanks and cutting inside more.
sick as fuck
honestly fucking hate supporting sunderland. imagine having players like mcgeady, cattermole, oviedo, mclaughlin + maja/gooch and not getting promoted in league 1. would only ever happen here.

none. charlton are in great form (could still finish above us and probably will tbh) and even if we beat them we cannot beat Portsmouth. We've outplayed them massively for 45-60 min in each game but never kill them off and they always end up getting something from it. if we somehow beat charlton and doncaster got to the final, though...
By what it was the game, this is not a bad result for Tottenham
Still in it, Son has to be massive next week. Would rest all players against Bournemouth.

Another quality away result, not the best ajax match, but didn't gave a real chance to spurs.
Let's finish it off at home

Ajax tired in the second half. This is how we'll beat them in the final.
By the way, Lloris is garbage. Trash.

Thought Spurs were on top once Vertonghen went off and they adjusted with Sissoko coming on. Physically imposing and dominant in the air if the quality of the delivery was better. Ajax were very good before the injury though. Swap Llorente for Kane and Son in for Alli/Lucas, Spurs win that game.
As good as they've been in the competition, don't think the Ajax team would have enough to beat Liverpool/Barca. Whoever qualifies from tomorrows tie wins it.

By FootbalIFan Go To PostJesal was going crazy there yelling about the time wasting
Yeah, I went full gammon, which is hard when you've got this much melanin
That final scoreline could have been a lot worse, and we've always got a chance, but it seems like everything is going wrong for us right now.
Ajax the first team to keep a clean sheet against us in the last 2 seasons of cl football.
Mane was already at that status. He has been at a high level for two seasons now. Messi is going to batter you the though.

As a kid I was cruyf, later vanenburg and than van basten on the playground and an Ajax fan. Only when I moved to Groningen for my study at Uni I started supporting the local FC, lived almost next to the (old) stadium.
When a Dutch team does well in Europe I will always support them, specially Ajax.
