By DY_nasty Go To Postall of them are better than LMAAll the people in this thread would say they'd take a core of Simmons/Butler/Tobias over Dame/CJ/Nurk so you can't tell me the difference in this game was Embiid to make them competitive.
Speaking of Simmons 😂😂
Nurkic made threes: 3
Cowards talk
The Sixers were down when Simmons was fouled in the third. After Simmons missed the first of two free throw attempts, Nurkic yelled "Hell no," which evoked quite a few choice words from the All-Star guard.Simmons made threes: 0
“You talk a lot of s--- for being a--," Simmons said. "Be f------ quiet. You talk a lot."
While I'm not sure this will make Simmons any happier, the two happen to be posting similar points this season.
Nurkic is averaging 15.2 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.1 assists for Portland through 57 appearances this season. Simmons is contributing 16.8 points, 9.0 boards and 7.8 assists for Philadelphia. We won't tell him that part, though.

And you'd be right to do so, but I think the difference today is Portland's hungrier and their bench is night and day from the beginning of the season. If that Kanter/Layman/Hood team can gel a bit better that's gonna be nonstop pressure from end to end and lots of win options.
I think Embiid is undervalued af and should be getting MVP if it weren't for brand giving him a squad this year
By Branduil Go To PostI still don't think Simmons and Butler is a good backcourt fit.Because Simmons don't belong in a backcourt that ain't tanking
By diehard Go To Posti think i might have been wrong about how good AD was/isDon't take for granted how trash this Lakers team is.
By DY_nasty Go To PostBecause Simmons don't belong in a backcourt that ain't tankingI think he needs to get the giannis treatment, the team built around him. Don't think you can plug him in to a system.
not yet anyway.

put him at the high post primarily. he doesn't need a whole team built around him he just needs a coach that isn't scared of every player on the roster.
Jimmy is going to walk so all of this is moot.
Dude has checked out already... Brett told him be Super Covington and Jimmy legit has stopped taking 3s in protest. The Harris trade was more about Jimmy leaving than anything

By Epic Games Store Go To Postat what point does lebron shut it down to save some face. When he requested a trade to the lakers.
By giririsss Go To PostAnd do what? even at the high post you don't have to guard him close / play him honestly..at the high post you can't sag off a guy by 10 feet because he can be at the rim with one dribble. you can't play off a guy at the high post and you can't double team them either - that's the point for every skilled passing big lol. it kills me that people look at simmons like he's some conundrum... no need to reinvent the wheel just get his ass off the pg spot full time. if he wants to push the ball up sure, but they're never gonna beat quality teams in the playoffs doing that.
By Epic Games Store Go To Postat what point does lebron shut it down to save some face.next week
kings will probably end up losing and the clippys have a loss incoming so it's not too bad for the lakers. puppys have a good schedule to make a push tho.
By pkaz01 Go To PostI hate this franchise, can fans request a trade?no trades they have to be picked up off waivers
I guess GS wants to play now.
By pkaz01 Go To PostI hate this franchise, can fans request a trade?Knicks-SLAENT might be willing to pick you off waivers, but it has to be done after July 1st for cap reasons.
By The Frankman Go To PostI guess GS wants to play now. That's fine enough time to see if Durant and Kyrie are there

And there's such little spacing around him that the lane is clogged also. He effectively has 1.5 players on him.
next week
I'm not saying it's not better, just think it's not a solution.
He's so great a passer you want the ball in his hand, and he's good in the post. I think you either want him in the PnR as the ball handler or screener, with the idea of him ending up scoring at the rim, with deep post position, or in a place to pass to an open cutter / shooter.
I'm just not sure i want him static with the ball in the high post. The other guys who did that could all hit that FT line shot.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIt's before. SMH doors close once the free agency bandwagon takes offWait BEFORE? Awww come on Knicks-SLAENT has pending offers on other bandwagoners. In fact masud and I actually talked about you as a potential acquisition.

By The Frankman Go To PostWait, the Lakers lost to an AD-less Pelican team? Good Lord…
Pretty glad I was working on the remodel
