Ewan MacGregor, Bryan Cranston, Christian Bale, Bradley Cooper, Wesley Snipes, Amy Adams, Tom Hardy have impressed me with their range.
By Xpike Go To Postonce upon a time in hollywood is kinda meh but a blessing for foot men everywhereQT’s worst film easily. Absolute trash besides the last 15 minutes or so.

By n8 dogg Go To PostEd Norton with more range than De Niro? Allah pls.Norton has so much range, he plays different characters in the same film:
Primal Fear
Fight Club
Death to Smoochy
The Incredible Hulk
Leaves of Grass
Guy played a fucking bagel
By blackace Go To PostThink Johnny Depp also has a lot of depth to his careerHe used to, now he just does the same hungover / half drunk expression every movie.
By Lupercal Go To PostHe used to, now he just does the same hungover / half drunk expression every movie.yeah I should had added per-Jack Sparrow Depp. But seems like all actors hit a plateau where they start just acting like the same character no matter what... Denzel/Depp/Jack
Probably because people pigeon hole them into playing a certain archetype.
Or become a Daniel Day Lewis with releasing one movie every few years.

Christian Bale is someone who is genuinely quite chameleonic and who has range.
Think Leo actually differentiates his characters well - Django, OUATIH, Revenant, Gatsby are all very different performances.

Leo seems diverse but he never takes a role that's out there. He'd never do a De Niro or Depp (pre Pirates) role.
He always has to look great, always has to be cool (except Gilbert)
I think Django was quite a departure. And while he looked cool in OUATIH, his character was actually a pathetic fragile ego of a man. Super vanity free performance.
Think Leo's range is incredible, from the aviator to django to catch me if you can to TWOWS all are completely different characters. And he does them incredibly well.
Deep will forever be great for his 90’s range. Benny & Joon has some of the physical acting since the silent era
Leo in Great Gatsby is something I think Leo will be in his 60s.
Just locked away in a mansion, throwing parties, banging over the hill super models.
( I don't remember much of the movie, thought it dragged on to long and I drank to many rum cocktails )

By blackace Go To PostReally think OUATIH was one of Leo's best at showing that he can wear another skin
My favourite Leo performance, actually. Pitt got a lot of the buzz but Leo was exceptional.

Ryan gosling in the nice guys is my go-to for ‘that motherfucker is the new buster keaton’
Just noticed that until the end of the year 3 movies staring Adam Driver will be released theatrically.
I like the movies and series where the royalty is all attractive and not inbred looking with obvious degenerative issues.

He’s certainly young, but that second part is highly debatable
Once Upon A Time would have been 5 stars if they cut out all the Sharon Tate and Manson shit and just focused on Rick Dalton's career going to hell.
Movie completely turned me around on Dicaprio
Movie completely turned me around on Dicaprio
what? that's the heart of the movie.
the juxtaposition between a former star's decline into obscurity vs. another's ascent to stardom (which we know was cut short by tragedy)
tate in the theater was the second best scene in the movie

Didn't need the juxtaposition. Got it just from when they showed his earlier movies/success. Hell, you could have done it with the younger actor who played against Dicaprio basically taking his former role in life.
Tate didn't come off as likeable. She came off as dim witted and vapid.

In the Star Wars case, Star Wars 9, which comes out this December will be the last of the Skywalker Saga and we’ll go into a hiatus for a few years before the next Star Wars feature.
Lucas is a god-like businessman.
Thanks for the billions, suckers
Disney literally has a Star Wars movie on their release calendar for 2022 (and 2024 and 2026...). This is not a hiatus.

That trilogy is no more. Anyways, They're just letting Avatar 2-5 release and then next gen SW is back
By Zabojnik Go To PostAdam putting in work. He knows he won't stay young and beautiful forever. He isn't beautiful by Hollywood standards but I am glad he is getting the work. I think he is a terrific actor and Marriage Story is my most anticipated movie of the year and this is coming for a complete Stat Wars fanboy that is anxious for Episode 9.
