Pele, talk to me about Santos
Would they have rioted if they'd been given a 1-0 loss instead of the 3-0? Or would it have happened anyway, given how close to kickoff Comnebol announced it.
Reminds me a bit of that Messi ban a couple of years ago where they waited until the day of a match to announce a huge, game-changing punishment

Probably not, but i cant predict that.
Conmebol is the most corrupt and disgraceful organization in football. River Plate played all their 7 games in this season Libertadores with an illegal player but didnt get eliminated/punished because none of the other clubs snitched them to the confederation. Santos only got the punishment because it came from Independiente. That's right, you heard it well: here, if you do illegal shit but the other clubs say nothing, youre fine. Maybe thats why Santos fans were full fuming.
By Vini.lad Go To PostProbably not, but i cant predict that.People die when River supporters riot tho. I think they were trying to avoid something like that.

Nice that Liverpool can get some tasty CL matches early on this time round; it was a real shame that we played a bunch of rubbish up until Roma last year

Anyone have any experience with ordering tickets for CL matches? Ordered flight/hotel with the option of cancellation to Manchester for the 23. of October before the CL draw, but the market for tickets for the actual match seems chaotic today. The sites can't even decide if the match is against Juventus or Young Boys. Wondering where/when to order tickets for the match.
Denis Vavro, young fucking eastern CB European #brute #beast I really think he will set records for us sales wise.

By Stolichnaya Go To PostLucked out with it being the Juventus match clearly. Should be a good time.Have a good one! I can’t give you any quality assurance for the game itself, but I’m sure the atmosphere and the like will be just awesome.
A little bit jelly over here...
By Francis Go To PostHave a good one! I can’t give you any quality assurance for the game itself, but I’m sure the atmosphere and the like will be just awesome. It feels kind of weird going to game that United honestly are likely to lose, but should be a blast anyhow. Will probably cost a pretty penny for the match tickets but the gamble of ordering the flights/hotel ahead of the draw definitely paid off. Prices doubled/tripled within an hour of the draw.

That City draw... yessssss. Now if we just avoid Liverpool until he final...
I don't follow British politics much, so seeing May embarass herself like that makes me feel sorry for her. Should I feel sorry for her? Based on the little I know I'm guessing I shouldn't.
