By sohois Go To PostNot sure City could do so without running afoul of squad registration issuesCity have 4 senior English players (discounting Hart) but if we bring back Maffeo or Angelino next season then we'd still have 4 HG players even if we got rid of Stones. I'm curious what will happen with Danilo. I'd have Maffeo in the squad over him any day of the week, personally. Foden and Diaz are too young to make much different but obviously are both HG and CT as well. Patrick Roberts could replace Stones as an English player in the squad, but I expect we'll sell him this summer.
Zinchenko can be on the B list next year as well as he'll start the season at 21 and have been registered with the club for two seasons. If we're truly interested in de Ligt, now would be the time to do it since he can be considered HG and CT in the future since he's still so young.

By the time we play our next league game Chelsea will be 2 points behind us. Aurier’s gaffe on Tuesday has made things awkward.

Chadli has emerged as the latest Albion player with a clause in his contract that can be triggered in the event of relegation, joining Jonny Evans (£3m) and Salomon Rondon (£16.5m).Jeez
By n8 dogg Go To PostEvans for 3m is a bargain for any club outside the top 6Welcome to Tottingham, Evans.
By OneTwoTee Go To PostNeves would be a nice Can replacement.Pretty different kind of player to be honest. Supremely talented though. I am curious how much he’d cost given that he could help Wolves stay up which is invaluable. My guess is at least £60m.
Jose Alvarez says City are interested in Bertrand but it will largely depend if Soton get relegated and if one of Delph or Zinchenko leave.
By FootbalIFan Go To PostThats a good price for RondonYeah, that would represent a bargain for basically any team. His hold up play is excellent. I’d have him at City as a different kind of option — basically a cheaper Bony type. But I don’t think there’s anyway we would actually sign him.

And it’s Mended pulling all of the strings so think it would be quite seemless.

I’d take him, everyone raves about him. And he’d be the Can replacement.
Ruben Neves is one who’s been on the radar for a while. I thought his star had fallen when Wolves brought him in, but it looks like it was just some clever string pulling by Mendes.
Jorginho would be my preferred target but he’s going to be quite a bit more money I fear, with there being lots of interested parties and Napoli unwilling sellers.
