Looks like the theory of first team with consecutive buckets in OT wins has been proven true once again.

Lmao, AD came in during Jrue's post game interview and when the topic of his big fourth quarter and OT came up said "gotta respect the bag".

Why Affalo swing like a mad kid?
Afflalo doesn't know how lucky he is. Bjelica nailed that crush counter so quick his v-trigger got maxed, could have ended him right there. League should give him a bonus for pacifism tbh.
I watched Trae Young for the first time tonight, it's obviously not representative of his whole season but he looked rough.
By unknown Go To PostThey should get your boy melo to play with Jokic.Sure, is probably that time of the year when we help one team in our division.
Probably something like Barton+ First+ Salary for Melo.

Emmanuel Mudiay and Kenneth Faried for Kemba Walker and MCW.
Didn't get to watch the Mavs tonight, but looked like it was a solid effort to make the score respectable. Keep that tank going
Seems like Mavs tried to foul, but didn't try hard enough so refs didn't call it. That's what I heard on radio at least
ESPN the only site where everytime they redesign it and people say it keeps getting worse, i actually agree with them
NBA.com inconsistently adjusts game times for your local time (it says MST but is really CST and shit) and its made me miss starts of games, so i don't go there anymore.
I think LeBron pelicans are the only team he can go to and beat GS. Because AD is immune to Draymond and KD. Only problem is he'd have to force a lopsided sign and trade to make it happen, but that's the situation for any team sans tank squads like LA and Chicago

DMC and AD have to stay to make it genuinely interesting. And if they can keep E'twaun Moore that'd really round it out.
At that point they could start Ian Clark as their PG and it wouldn't matter.
WTF is the point of ref's not calling these intentional fouls? The only thing that can lead to is an escalation in how hard players will make intentional fouls, in terms of force. Just out right tackle them.
Fucking dumb.
Fucking dumb.
I can't tell if Matthews made contact but before that.. there wasn't any foul, they were trying to trap him.
I mean after the trap, Yogi clearly reaches (they would call this if he tried this on Harden in Q1 with 11:50 left) and Wes has his arm across the body at 7 seconds as well. Just weird. Anyways I'll take the L with DSJ spearheading the comeback.
And yeah, this will only lead to players being overly physical which could end up actually hurting someone. That's why you see Wes ram the dude (no idea who is on the nuggets lol) at full speed with 1.7 left.

i just legitimately don't see a point where i can say that there was absolutely a foul there until he runs into Gary Harris. Refs could have given them a break though.

That's a foul.
But if not, when DSJ reaches in and rakes down the whole side of the guy with the ball.
It's certainly a foul while trying to intentionally foul. To avoid players escalating the contact.
I mean context too. Teams intentionally foul. Game is close and you see the following
How is that not a foul? Especially intentionally?

I mean his arm hits him. Do they need to wrap them up? Grab them and throw them? He hit him lol. What more does a player need to do to intentionally foul.

It's not that hard. I mean is that a foul? yeah probably. Is it enough of a foul where you can 100% expect a call? I don't think so.
But he still hit him. When teams intentionally foul they barely touch people. Look at all the "hack a whoever" you see them run up to someone and tap them like a kindergarten game of tag. The refs call that...

Mathews .. barely makes contact.
Hard to find stuff from this season since it's kinda gone, but I mean they don't always grab
Check the fouls against Drummond. So many love taps. Especially at 3:56 lol

Coaches and players usually tell refs when they're about to intentionally foul too...
Also, late and close game? Refs are required to know better and be aware. It's pretty much inexcusable.

From that bleacher report article:
Lawd.
When did shitting on IT become a national pastime? Rondo usingh the rings argument that he's more deserving of remembrance than IT.
"This is the Boston Celtics," the New Orleans Pelicans guard added, per Doyle. "This isn't the Phoenix Suns; no disrespect to any other organization, but you don’t hang conference titles. Do we hang going to the conference finals? What do we hang here?"

Derrick Favors could be a potential trade target for the Cavs, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.I'm not sure how much this helps the Cavs. The LeBron offense doesn't mesh well with low post bigs that don't shoot 3s, I mean Kevin Love can't get the amount of touches he wants low.
Cleveland is looking to add some size, and Favors is available, so it'll be interesting to see if anything becomes of this report. Favors value in Cleveland would depend on the moving pieces, but it's tough to see him improving his stock with the Cavs. He's also been linked to the Bulls, but his value would likely take a hit there if they didn't also move Robin Lopez

I mean why the GM paid so many one dimensional PGs who cannot defend is beyond me.
EDIT: FreeDawkins put together a comp of all the "obvious" chippiness/buildup in the Clippers/Rockets game. He missed like 1-2 plays but it's real good.
East vs West is 129-130 so far.
-Minnesota is the only top 8 team in the WC with a losing record vs the EC at 6-11.

Also the only playoffs teams that have a losing record against their own conference are Pelicans (11-15), Blazers (12-13), Bucks (11-14) and Pistons (13-14).

Robin Lopez to CLE for Tristan Thompson works, as does Lopez for TT+Shump, or Lopez+Mirotic for TT+Shump. Obviously the Cavs would have to give up the Nets pick and maybe another for the Bulls to be interested, but they're a pretty good partner for dumping salary, especially if the Bulls want to move on from Mirotic and continue their rebuild.

The Wolves will just have to live with being 9-1 against the division and 23-6 overall against the West.
Whatever. Weird stuff happens over 82 games. Good teams have bad nights and lose to Orlando and Brooklyn sometimes.
