By Fenderputty Go To PostI know it’s coming, but demographic shifts are taking their time.
Also:
I mean of the flip side they'll be near impossible to reverse.

By Fenderputty Go To PostRemember when Trump said he would self-fund his campaign
Remember when we thought he wouldn't make it this far
Remember when I had faith in people this election
By TheHunter Go To PostThe only reason this is taking so much time is because Mueller’s been looking for Revolver Ocelot without realizing he’s already been inside the White House all along.
Well there goes the no collusion angle.

Et tu Rosanne?
I hate that Roseanne has ruined the Rosanne revival for me. I'd love to watch it to see John Goodman on TV again, but I just can't watch it.
Tbh w y'all... Ecuador is the one country I wouldn't really be mad, like at all, if America just went over there and fucked their shit up like they did the Middle East, cuz tbh... fuck Ecuador's embassies frfr...
Also, it appears Trump's former lead attorney John Dowd had been talking to Manafort and Flynn about possible pardons last year. Not that Trump would ever obstruct justice or anything. ("Don't say anything, we'll pardon you.")

This seems like something you would show as a repeated pattern when you're arguing for obstructing. There isn't consensus that this instance would be illegal. Pardon powers are powerful and lay with the POTUS alone.
IMO, the semi juicy news regarding Mueller today was the filing that person A was a Russian agent with the GRU in 2016. Nothing prior to this was definitive from a timeline standpoint, which has allowed the right to obfuscate about the "before's" of the campaign.
Somebody's really going to have to take care of Robert Mercer and his ilk just as much as somebody's going to have to take care of Koch and their ilk. These idiots need to be taught the lesson that it would have been better for them to remain anonymous in the shadows like some secret society.
Trump appointing his personal physician. If he wanted to hire someone who has had their finger up his asshole, he could have just hired Stormy Daniels.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostAt least it's not his other personal doctor.
Is this a troll?
By SchuckyDucky Go To PostAt least it's not his other personal doctor. No lies that is who I first thought he was hiring.
So, is what's going on in Atlanta the first time we've heard of an entire city being held for ransom, by hackers?
By EldritchTrapStar Go To PostSo, is what's going on in Atlanta the first time we've heard of an entire city being held for ransom, by hackers?I read somewhere that it isn't the first American city to be hacked like that, but it is the first one that made the major news.

Ah there it is.
Official confirmation collusion is on the table.
We sort of knew this when Person A was filed a couple days / week ago? But it's nice that it's official and it sheds some lights on Gate's roll. I think Manafort is holding out for his hail marries hoping to get everything dropped before he think plea.

Tone-deaf of france to host a terrorist-affiliated delegation after the recent terror attacks on their own soil.

Erdogan, is that you?
By Facism Go To PostGreat response.
I mean I'm not stoked the YPG has ties to the PKK, but Turkey has ties to Hammas and al-Nusra so I found your comments to be kinda .... well Erdogan like. It's pretty much verbatim his response to France in fact.
Haven't read erdocunt's response to France. I actively avoid that monster's rhetoric. It's just the logical conclusion of the situation. I bet he even brought up France's inability to meet it's agreements in regards to the Syrian refugee issue the European nations settled on. They're not erdog talking points, they're actual talking points.
Not happy about the Turkey's ties to elements of the FSA, either. Unless they stay as some sort of guarantor in the region those opposition muppets will turn the north into a warzone yet again.

That was a lot more nuanced that your original response. The whole thing is a giant cluster fuck and it seems like every side has dirty hands at some point. Including us. The Kurds have been our allies for a while and I know their ties to the PKK have caused some rumblings over here as well.
I don't pretend to have answers, but discussion seems like something that should be encouraged rather than discouraged. Maybe that's too much optimism though????
