Better than Clinton being shoved down our throats. Honestly, it all seems like a no win scenario for the general public. Hillary was a mistake and made worse by the fact that if you said anything against or critical you were a dick. Trump spawned from years of GOP incest. And Bernie... man, people would've came for dude's head by now lol - regardless he still got done dirty and people are gonna cling to that. To many he's gonna remain the lesser of three evils so I can't hate. Out of all the Ls, that would've been the smallest. I *only* say that because we still got these cornball dems circling the same old wagons.

If Y'all are gonna re-litigate the 2016 election, may I suggest the unfortunate consequence of Michael Avenatti running in 2020 as another negative externality that resulted from the Trump presidency.
Bill Clinton gave us George W. Bush.
Hillary Clinton gave us Donald Trump.
Those are top 2 all time negative externalities.
At least Avenatti knows how to use Twitter.

And I know we're not going to talk about terrible campaigning when one candidate had to fight a superdelegates system rigged against him, and also had to prioritize what little campaigning he could do without corporate lobbyist funding buying him off, all while the other candidate didn't even step foot in FLINT and Green Bay even though she was supposed to have a political machine behind her.
Please, for the sake of clowning Bernie, why must we prop up Hillary in his stead? We could do better.

Bernie was as good an option as it could get for either party. That is why he should have ran as Republican. I think a lot of super-leftists should start running as RINOs.
Wow the same shitty tired arguments from Jan 2017. How fun. Thankfully Avenatti knows how heāll pay for healthcare unlike t.... wait
A man whose only claim to fame was marching for civil rights, couldn't get the black south over Hillary "superthug" Clinton. Say that shit out loud and for everyone in the back to hear. The same man whom got a multitude of passes for his hands in certain policies. The same man whom habitually continues to miss the damn point and line steps with minorities, all of the damn time now.
Lemme guess. The Russia shit, all of the social media fuckery, and 20 years of Republican bullshit doesn't matter, but the whole world was out to get him, right?
Nobody is propping up Hillary. I don't give a fuck about her. If the only thing anyone has to say, in the year of our Lord 2018, is that she's the cause of all of this, then you and the rest of this country hasn't seen enough hell and we'll be doing this song and dance again after the next dem takes office.

People act like articulating how you'd pay for healthcare is so hard.
It's actually quite simple.
Tax the rich.
Buy up hospitals.
Open up medical schools.
Incentivize highly skilled immigrant doctors.
Re-haul healthcare legislation, allowing Medicare to buy drugs at competitive pricing.
If rich people and corporations don't like it, force them to move to the EU, so they can be somebody else's problem.
Then make the EU start defending itself by paring back and trimming down our military industrial complex, in order to build up our healthcare industrial complex instead.
It's, like, super easy once you think about it. It's called reallocation of resources, etc.

I also don't want to forget to mention that I can't wait for robots, artificial intelligence, and all other miscellaneous forms of automation to completely revolutionize all fields of healthcare.
I believe that the technology is only being held back by pharmaceuticals and the ruling elite.

Turning around and blaming voters for that is just wholly unfair. The DNC failed them, not the other way around.

I'm typically "fuck the average voter" most of the time, but even a country as lukewarm to politics as America has a line. Even the republicans knew when to give up on Jeb! so putting a machine to force only one particular candidate despite all kinds of red flags AND show arrogance by taking those same voters for granted? I'm not gonna give the greater body of dems a pass for it. Especially when you look at how they followed up after the whole ordeal. Its ridiculous how quickly they turn on each other in order to appeal to what they consider the middle ground while also ignoring obvious outcries elsewhere. For as much shit as the right gets, they know when to pivot and when to hold the line. Cortez hasn't even done anything yet and she's already some "handle with care situation in spite of all that's happened.
I get where you're coming from. And as much as voter complacency and just.... general nonsense bothers me, I'm not able to dismiss the causes this time around.

That little change makes something simple, not so simple though.
Better to pay more taxes than to keep giving all your money away to health insurance companies and the pharmaceuticals.
It's kind of amazing how it all pivots on reallocation of resources: money to ourselves and our democracy instead of to in-the-closet Martin Shkrellies.

I would never want Dems to protect him anyway. I could never trust them to, I can barely trust them now. Who needs enemies when you have friends like them?
They don't even know how to move on from Obama and Clinton. Dems as they are, are lucky that people like Bernie and Ocasio-Cortez still run as Dems. Berniecrats are the only ones keeping Dems relevant at all.
Dems are irrelevant enough as it is, so the only question is whether current society can afford them being even more irrelevant by running Berniecrats as RINOs instead. That's the only existing conundrum.
It's difficult to imagine how many Dems are or aren't DINOs anyway. Didn't some of them approve of Gorsuch? "Red state Democrats." Well, maybe it's time we install some blue state Republicans then.
I grow weary of primarying low hanging fruit. Need bigger challenges, broader horizons.

Calixto, who lives in Massachusetts and came to the U.S. when he was 12, said in an email interview arranged through his attorney that he joined the Army out of patriotism.how you in but not in? people don't make it basic every day b
In the suit, Calixto said he learned he was being kicked out soon after he was promoted to private second class.
The Pakistani service member who spoke to the AP said he learned in a phone call a few weeks ago that his military career was over.
āThere were so many tears in my eyes that my hands couldnāt move fast enough to wipe them away,ā he said. āI was devastated, because I love the U.S. and was so honored to be able to serve this great country.ā
He asked that his name be withheld because he fears he might be forced to return to Pakistan, where he could face danger as a former U.S. Army enlistee.
Portions of the 22-year-oldās military file reviewed by the AP said he was so deeply loyal to the U.S. that his relationships with his family and fiancee in Pakistan would not make him a security threat. Nonetheless, the documents show the Army cited those foreign ties as a concern.
The man had enlisted in April 2016 anticipating heād be a citizen within months, but faced a series of delays. He had been slated to ship out to basic training in January 2017, but that also was delayed.
"deeply loyal" is also not quantifiable or going to show up anywhere lol. i have no idea what that means. did you take the oath? y/n? loyal until further notice. what your background investigation pulls up? entirely different.
Some of the service members say they were not told why they were being discharged. Others who pressed for answers said the Army informed them theyād been labeled as security risks because they have relatives abroad or because the Defense Department had not completed background checks on them.

āI have always been a good soldier and have always done what they ask me to do,ā she said. āI got into debt when I joined the Army because I canāt work legally but, financially, I canāt survive anymore. I donāt want to give up because I genuinely like being in the Army. But I donāt know who to turn to.ādebts will fuck your clearance *quick* and legitimately make you a security risk. you lose a clearance in some jobs and you're plainly fucked. usually the very first thing they tell reservists who can't make ends meet is to consider active duty. i'm not buying this one
Republican Congressman Andy Harris of Maryland, who has supported legislation to limit the program, told the AP that MAVNI was established by executive order and never properly authorized by Congress.there's that thing about congress being wishy washy and letting EOs walk
āOur military must prioritize enlisting American citizens, and restore the MAVNI program to its specialized, limited scope,ā he said.
It came under fire from conservatives when President Barack Obama added DACA recipients ā young immigrants who were brought to the U.S. illegally ā to the list of eligible enlistees. In response, the military layered on additional security clearances for recruits to pass before heading to boot camp.but most importantly, its a different process and has been for ages.
