I'm always going to appreciate Robin Van Pucci. Lad slotted into our side and didn't mind the bench when his legs and stamina weren't quite up to the task. Good ambassador. Godspeed lad.

when you win titles
no memories if you don't win titles
By bud Go To Postferguson took away a lot of what made van persie an exciting player and made him play like a somewhat boring van nistelrooy-like striker.
i vividly remember thinking "what did robin do outside of scoring that game winning goal?" very frequently.
he must have been devastated when Fergie did that to him.
Maybe he wiped his tears up with his medal. It wasn’t absorbent. But it was comforting.
Hmm, in a few months we'll have a direct train running between Amsterdam and London. Gonna be around 100 euros back and forth and the trip takes like 4 hours to get you at St. Pancras. Now that's an interesting connection. Skipping all the hazzle of airports when going to London makes it much more appealing to go for just 1 night.

All those empty away seats and they're missing their club possibly pull off the upset.
If this goes to penalties...fuck me, Conte could feel the Italian Job in the tunnel.

He's jumping before any challenge, but the defender doesn't get the ball either.
No pen, card them both just to be sure.

By GQman2121 Go To PostThis is where VAR is absolutely broken. This is not how to make best use of the tech. That's how it is. People who expect it to be without mistakes are in for a huge suprise.
VAR creates new mistakes, alot of things are left undiscovered and the time they take in certain situations is beyond what you're used to in footy.
Not a fan of it.

For tackles or fouls for penalties, no, absolutely not. Not if it's it going to take upwards of 90 seconds for a decision to be made. That works in the NFL because the games are three to four hours long and 99% commercial breaks anyway.

great for him that he won a bunch of trophies, but that's not really the point i was making.

By GQman2121 Go To PostI'm on board for decisions that have led to goals. Last night at Leicester was a perfect example of the right way to use it.Yeah we already had situations were the game already went on by 2-4 minutes and suddenly the VAR is getting involved and there's a pen.

It's rather weird. Alot of fans complained that you can hardly celebrate a goal, because you'll always got the feeling the VAR might interfere.
Footy is just a rather fluid game without any longer breaks unless it's injury related. So it's hard to get used to VAR in alot of cases. In general it was pretty hit and miss, because they reworked the rules like twice within the season already. And you still got different refs being part of VAR meaning alot of different situations :/
Expected it to be alot better after they already practiced that stuff for an entire season and always promised the things that happened, wouldn't have happened.
