It's well good for a unnecessary prequel.

The first one is my favourite game of the generation
Watching a playthrough of BTS, about 2 hours into episode 2. Seems like a worthy successor, even if I'm not a fan of a few of the voices
Will buy it at some point. Never be able to fathom why I like Chloe so much when she's objectively awful

Do. It's just incredible.

I honestly think this prequel makes me like Chloe more than I did in S1. For one, how she uses Hella, there's now context for it.
I adore LIS and this game has done a good job of serving as a worthy successor (predecessor?). I really connected with Chloe and felt like I saw my teenage self in her.
I am personally waiting for this to conclude then i will start my copy. I adored LiS. Glad to hear people think its good.
Finished episode two a couple days ago. Both the first and Before the Storm leave me feeling melancholy but I love it all nonetheless. I enjoyed the play and loved Chloe and Rachel walking home together afterwards.
I'm just dreading the end of episode three knowing what happens in the first game...

Absolutely love EPs 1 & 2 - really maintain the feel of LIS very well. I think they have done a good job with working around the lack of magic time powers too. I don't miss that stuff at all, and not having it does make the big decisions feel like an important choice.
Most important is I really care about Chloe and Rachel - the writing and voice acting has been great!
