By Pac-12 Go To PostWhoa whoa whoa, you're a Kyrie hater. Stay in your lane.playing the long game
kyrie will probably never be as good or successful as when he was playing alongside LBJ. so this "but the system" shit is jokes.
By DY_nasty Go To Postplaying the long gameHe was already better than he had ever been last year tho..

By blackace Go To PostHe was already better than he had ever been last year tho..and the team played better without him too soooooooo
Kyrie is one of the best 1 on 1 players in the game, i'm not sure his success and criticism with an offensive system are incongruent.
You guys think Lebron will let Lonzo run the offense?
Im curious to know how we are going to play. We have alot of good young guys. Theyre gonna be motivated.

By DY_nasty Go To Postand the team played better without him too soooooooooh did we move the goalpost over here now?
By diehard Go To PostKyrie is one of the best 1 on 1 players in the game, i'm not sure his success and criticism with an offensive system are incongruent.I agree with that to a degree, but any system where players mover without the ball make everyone better
By blackace Go To Postoh did we move the goalpost over here now?
Back in his lane. I respect it.
By Pac-12 Go To PostBack in his lane. I respect it.Kyrie is a fuckboi but he isn't dependent on another player to make him better.. However the flip side is he doesn't make anyone better also
By blackace Go To Postthe Lakers have more talent on their roster than the Cavs by far.. but the Cavs were put together to compliment James.. the Lakers just look like this is James' chance to say sorry to every player he has done wrong at some point..
Eh... not sure.

It'll be your turn my turn for a while until LeBron gets tired of it
By blackace Go To Postthe Lakers have more talent on their roster than the Cavs by far.. but the Cavs were put together to compliment James.. the Lakers just look like this is James' chance to say sorry to every player he has done wrong at some point..Pretty much this. James wanted a team of specialists.
By giririsss Go To PostEh… not sure.Whoa now, Ingram and Kuzma are shit? I mean you saw flashes with both at least.
By The Frankman Go To PostPretty much this. James wanted a team of specialists.Ingram isn't even as good as Brown.
Whoa now, Ingram and Kuzma are shit? I mean you saw flashes with both at least.
And no one should believe in any Lakers Big until they go to another team and not suck pure ass. Or any lakers "talent" for that matter.
By giririsss Go To PostIngram isn't even as good as Brown.Brown isn't on the Cavs...

By Red Blaster Go To Postkevin love is better than anyone on the lakersKuzma put up damn near the same numbers as him being a rookie...
By blackace Go To Postoh did we move the goalpost over here now?long game. this is foreshadowing of cards yet to be pulled
By DY_nasty Go To Postlong game. this is foreshadowing of cards yet to be pulledwhen we will active the trap card?
By blackace Go To Postwhen we will active the trap card?when kyrie is on the knicks and still can't win shit
By blackace Go To PostBrown isn't on the Cavs…I know. ...
By giririsss Go To PostI know. …then why is BI not being as good as him make any sense in a discussion about the Lakers and Cavs?
By Red Blaster Go To Postkevin love is better than anyone on the lakersSorry but Kevin Love isn't better than Lance Stephenson.
By Smoke Dogg Go To PostSorry but Kevin Love isn't better than Lance Stephenson.42% shooting 29% 3pt shooting Lance Stephenson?
By blackace Go To Post42% shooting 29% 3pt shooting Lance Stephenson?
Intangibles.
For example, only one of them can be AC for LeBron in the huddle.
By Smoke Dogg Go To PostSorry but Kevin Love isn't better than Lance Stephenson.
This is what being a Lakers' homer does to people.
By blackace Go To Postthen why is BI not being as good as him make any sense in a discussion about the Lakers and Cavs?
It puts the Lakers "flashes of talent" into perspective?
BI is likely rich mans corey brewer.
By Smoke Dogg Go To PostSorry but Kevin Love isn't better than Lance Stephenson. You high?
By giririsss Go To PostIt puts the Lakers "flashes of talent" into perspective? Most likely better than anyone not named Kevin Love on the Cavs tho

Y'all don't even know.
By blackace Go To PostMost likely better than anyone not named Kevin Love on the Cavs thoI 'm not sold on that. George HIll is the prototypical ideal point guard to play along side LBJ. And he was basically ostracised from the whole thing.
By giririsss Go To PostI 'm not sold on that. George HIll is the prototypical ideal point guard to play along side LBJ. And he was basically ostracised from the whole thing.I hear Rodney Hood gonna do work on the Cavs, just catch and shoot 3's.
By diehard Go To PostI hear Rodney Hood gonna do work on the Cavs, just catch and shoot 3's.I... dunno enough about Hood to know if that's sarcasm or not :|
By DY_nasty Go To Postgeorge hill was washed all year long lolWasn't the actual story there, that he lost it because he got pissed off with everyone for not actually trying to win. And the FO. And the Coach. And let it be known, regularly.
lost his job in sacramento to not one but two rookies
(Part his fault, he signed with the Kings. Part them, they supposedly did a "we're trying to win" sell to FA's).
By giririsss Go To PostI… dunno enough about Hood to know if that's sarcasm or not :|It's what people were saying when he was traded there, and well.. it didn't exactly happen.
By s y Go To PostPoint is, Hill was trash with the Kings.
It's convenient to the story line. But he was still shooting well, and keeping turnovers low. And only a year removed from being a core piece of a Utah team that really wanted to keep him.

By blackace Go To Posthe shot better on the Kings tho lolThat was my point. He was still fine on the Kings even if a disgruntled locker room presence.
He gets to Cleveland and he's all of a sudden washed?
Ok.
By giririsss Go To PostThat was my point. He was still fine on the Kings even if a disgruntled locker room presence.he shot better but was dropping 10 a game...from 16 a game the year before... players wash out shit happens.

Ok.
Hill's numbers between the Cavs and Kings are virtually identical. The difference in shooting numbers is directly tied to his 3P%(on only 3 attempts per game).
By s y Go To PostHill's numbers between the Cavs and Kings are virtually identical. The difference in shooting numbers is directly tied to his 3P%(on only 3 attempts per game).they are damn close he had like 4 great games at the start of the season and everybody was thinking Utah goofed
By blackace Go To Posthe shot better but was dropping 10 a game…from 16 a game the year before… players wash out shit happens.Reduced minutes. I think on a per/36 basis it was like 13.9ppg on king, to 19.3ppg on UTA.
Where 13.9ppg is much closer to his career average (14.5) on a per 36 basis. That UTA year he shot a lot more. Similar splits though.
Basically, there's nothing there that says anything other than, George Hill was playing exactly like an average George Hill year should look like.
I'm not going to say he looked good on CLE. He didn't. Lots of people looked bad. But there wasn't necessarily a lack of talent. Particularly compared to this LA team.
I was stunned how bad Hill looked, but some of it has to do with he had a lot less freedom on O and the fact that Cleveland doesn't run offensive NBA sets. Or practice.
By blackace Go To Posthe shot better on the Kings tho loleasy to shoot in garbage time
Damn, talk about how the pendulum always swings back tho.
They flipped Hill for Kawhi who got flipped for DeRozan.
