By Fenderputty Go To PostThese dudes fell in love three times each at the Normandie lol
I wasn’t there but I can confirm reilo did, in fact, fall in love at the Normandie.
I fell in love with the bar, not any one woman.
Unlike Haspha taking creeper pics of all the Asian women walking in and texting them to his mother to get approval smh

Does the sun look like this on your phone?
I'm still waiting for the Oreo 8.0 update from T-Mobile for my V30. All the other US carriers have updated within the last month. It apparently changes the emojis to be in line with WhatsApp and iOS. I'll be glad to see the back of the blobs.

I’ll say this if I would have gone there would have been a lot of pictures. I wouldn’t be in any of them either
By blackace Go To PostI drink about 2 fifths every weekend
that's 3 fifths away from a full m8
I won't even say what I used to be able to drink as it more the cocktail of things rather than my pure ability to drink. Although we played alot of drinking games in my previous companies, I was pretty good at 6 in 60(thd game was called that because some guy bet someone alot of money he couldn't down 6 pints in 60 mins and kinda just became a thing) Managed to get down to about 24 mins.
Yeah, Korea really has the emoji game on lock down.
To the point there are whole stores dedicated to them in korea.
... Yes i own several of their plushies.

I don't even understand the concept of that, like a physical store?
By Kidjr Go To PostI don't even understand the concept of that, like a physical store?Yeah physical store. So you can use the emotes in the kakao app. Then buy physical versions on line or in store. Theyre called kakao friends.
Ryan da best.

We’re all old here, I’m sure our friends are around the same age. We got shit to do, work/kids/being lazy
By s y Go To PostNah. I'd say most of slaent is under 30.lol
most of slaent is from gaf which was populated by the brief window of people who thought message boards were still cool
i doubt there's a dozen people here who are under 26-28
By s y Go To PostIf FF is under 30 then I'm definitely right.Which FF? One is a thousand years old and the other is as good as 30.
26-28 is old relative to the internet. The average user on reddit, Instagram, tumblr is probably in their teens. The average age of a slaenter is no less than 26
I obviously didn’t mean 50 year olds, kinda why I said kids and not grandkids

Yeah I'm 29. I think the demo here is around 26-33 or something if I had to guess. That means old on the internet.
By s y Go To PostYou guys underestimate the amount of 13 year olds who posted in GAF.you underestimate the number of people who are mentally 13 and choose to live forever through forums
message boards in general sprung up and died down in such a weird time that they only register for a small amount of people
if you've ever seen or used one of these and been a fanboygirl looking for other fanboy/girlss online, you're the most common type of vbulletin aficionado by a mile
By s y Go To PostYou guys underestimate the amount of 13 year olds who posted in GAF.Despite the way shinobi acts, he’s not 13.
You ever wonder why there’s so many dumbass threads like “I’m bleeding from my anus nonstop, what do I do GAF/Era?” or “have I been wiping my ass wrong this whole time”
Kids aren’t socially inept. Yeah they might cement their friends head in a microwave but they’re smart enough to call the emergency number to help their friend while the people on GAF/Era would just post a thread.

Your overestimating the amount of 13 years olds who migrated here from GAF. Most people here seem to be in some form of career or looking for that career. I wage Nelo and CRUD were the youngest here. I bet the average here is late 20's to early 30's.
So my wife is in HR. Being in HR you get to know how underpaid you are. She does job class research and knows the average wage for her title in the area she works. She also know's what incoming HR directors make (the ones she trains). She's got manager of the year once and of the quarter multiple times. A little over a year ago she asked for a raise. They gave her one. She was so underpaid though that her raise (even though substantial) didn't get her up to competitive market snuff. We considered it a good faith effort though. She was line level prior to this position so they took a chance on her being in HR. Knowing that, she accepted the job at lower rates because she knew she was green. So yeah first raise was a good faith effort.
Fast forward to about a week ago. She get her review. Stellar review. Get's another quarterly award to boot. She asks for more money, and specifically enough to just get paid market value. Her bosses response verbatim:
"You know ... sometimes you just have to jump ship to get that bump you've been looking for"
She's already got an interview for Friday. I hope she gets to tell her boss that she took his advice and jumped ship. Corporate HR wasn't happy when the found out his response but corporate HR can't force him to be forward thinking and even if they could, why work for a man who doesn't want to reward you for what you're worth unless forced to do so?
Fingers crossed.

Sucks that it kinda is true that the only way to get decent raises is to chase new jobs though... No reason to stay at places nowadays since pension isn't a thing anymore.
