Quickplay is sweaty garbage. Competitive play types are just garbo. The most fun I've had is Mayhem because supers and nades are actually in that one but its only on rotation.

Radar is the only way to balance a bunch of solo nonmic using players and it's fine.
Destiny 2's biggest issue has been shitting on the solo crowd and then wondering why their numbers took a plummet. There's not enough shit for hardcores and solo people just get left out entirely.

Shadowshot is still a wonder to behold in its shittiness. Takes too long to fire, still has the dumbass jump animation, still clings to the smallest invisible pixel on a tree or outcropping and doesn't snap to anyone right away so you still get owned by their super. Or worse it's a hulk smash titan and he obliterates the thing entirely as he comes down.
I am somehow owning face but it's because vigi wing on smaller maps is great and jade rabbit on bigger ones is decent. Finally able to punish a bit if I play smart enough. Miss my nades though when I'm facing teams that know what they're doing.

If you keep it 4v4, you have to go down to one or two control points and change the scoring system. If you make it 6v6 only, I'm not sure how much, if anything, would need to change.
Maybe do like Perfect Dark 64 did for king of the hill: have a control point that rotates after being captured for <x> amount of time. You could then keep the current scoring system in place and still use all 3 points built into every map.
My issue with control is that there's no real boost to defending and with the spawns as they are all it becomes is chasing the points around the map than actually playing a game of keeping a territory. It's dumb as fuck. Also as someone who plays solo just gimme a clash only playlist. All of the objectives are pretty garbage.

There are some good flanks on Radiant Cliffs but they're frankly kind of useless with how the meta is.
Destiny MP suffers from the same problems Reach had, poor map flow, unused map space and an abundance on nonsensical sight lines.

Then D2 comes out and they left out so much of the good shit they added over the years. It's like they made a sequel to Destiny 1, Year 1 instead of Destiny 1, Year 3.

The whole thing is hilarious especially if you're a solo player and already at a disadvantage for winning a game in which they set it up for "team shooting" to reign supreme. Losses are pretty much a guarantee whether it's meh team mates and or going up against strong premade teams. Like they already have Trials but I guess that wasn't dead enough for them, they want the rest of the Crucible starting with Competitive to suffer the same problem where the bottom drops out completely. A static amount of points for a loss isn't enough and loss in and of itself isn't demoralizing enough, especially the stomps that happen in Destiny, let's make each successive loss even more points someone loses from their Glory Rank. Like what sadistic fuck came up with this shit?
