Damn disrespectful
By giririsss Go To PostIf you haven't played / watched / done what ever with in 2 - 3 months of its release the thing doesn't mean enough that a spoiler is going to ruin it for you.
Nah, with the way discounts go now it's pretty dumb to buy most things that soon.
Just use spoiler tags, it's not hard.
By blackace Go To PostI'd be trying to give JC the late pick and Deng to see if they bite
Sure, but but I'm assuming that doesn't get it done.
By Kabro Go To PostEh but Hell naw
PG saying no he'll come is nice, but I don't think it's s garantee. Especially if he's rented to Cleveland. Turning the #2 into PG and the removal of a bad contract is a pretty good value. Especially if we want to be players in FA with PG on the squad

That's not fair. It took me till now to finish Persona 5 and I've been playing on and off since release 2.5 months ago.
I actually agree with the idea that it doesn't take any effort to put spoiler tags on there, so just do it. Most spoilers don't bother me, but there's a couple exceptions. I somehow went into BioShock blind six months after release and knowing that twist probably makes that a different experience on some level.
Like, I wouldn't post about Prey story specifics without tags and not only because it's only been out six weeks. So I guess I do feel for people playing games that are narrative focused.

im still working through it myself and would be salty if someone threw a spoiler out there
By Fenderputty Go To PostIf you you're the lakers, do you consider given up the #2 for PG if Indy will take on Deng?
I would think pretty long and hard about this. Ultimately it should be contingent on us getting a point guard as well. While PG will help us we really need a point guard on this roster. Maybe go after George Hill in free agency, depending on his price tag of course.
Tough decision.

Curiously, I wonder if flipping D'Russ for PG instead of the 2nd pick... or Ingram even would be better.. Because if you land PG getting a decent point who could run an offense... be it Fox, or Ball would be big.
By Omzz Go To PostLeGM gonna LeGM
Also, can we talk about how the Cavs want to replace their GM with Chauncey Billups, a dude who was playing until two years ago, has zero experience and is currently a terrible TV analyst?
By domino Go To PostLeGM gonna LeGMnot really
Orlando Magic scouted him for some reason to be their new GM and President and the Cavs not matching or giving a better offer is just a reason to leave.
why deal with the stress of LeBron bitching at you when you can make more money working for a place that has no expectations for you

Worked for Steve Kerr...

This is pretty much my thought as well. Problem is with Russell is that he is our best shooter, without him we have no one to space the floor. Ingram could be that guy, but he certainly didn't show it last year.
Ball or Fox/Clarkson/Ingram/PG/Randle ? Kind of an odd line up unless you run Ingram at the 2...
Ball or Fox/Ingram/PG/Randle/Zubac
Those don't seem all that great.

Ingram should be the one traded.. because PG hurts his growth. But they seem to like him a lot..
Steve Kerr had 4 years of commentating and was a minority owner for the team working as a former player consultant before being GM.
Billups never played for the Cavaliers and has less experience, but I'm not gonna overlook a guy's hustle and further his career. Hope it works out for him.

Kevin McHale went from Wolves color commentator to GM.
And that was the first step on our road to 6 championships.

They won a ring under a guy whose only claim to fame was getting stepped over by Iverson. Lebron figures he's the whole thing and he wants people who are gonna listen to him.

Sure, but winning the East is better than 80% of the league can dream of.

That's what I mean, it seemed to work out pretty well for them though. I understand this is more of an outlier though...
I feel like it's a lot harder to go from zero to GM. Like, look at Vlade literally not knowing how the CBA worked.
Windhorst made a good point about Griff the other day on Zach Lowe's podcast.
Dan Gilbert doesn't want to spend on front office guys. And hasn't extended a GM's contract in a very very long time

Kerr was willing to play Draymond at center and willing to start Draymond after Draymond played great so those were good moves.

And then they become Nets midwest
By blackace Go To PostOh shit.. that changes everything..I'm not saying like that changes anything. He was equally inexperienced. If you don't give these guys offers when will we ever get more fresh talent and younger people running teams.
Especially former players and not white.
Kerr was terrible at not staggering Curry and Durant, but it didn't matter at all because the Warriors were impossibly dominant.

I'd feel bad for Love having to go that trash fire in New York.
