I am just now getting to the game after seeing the brief on my phone alerts before John Wick 2 started(awesome).
Avatar aside, I came in expecting some flagrant shit. I think this was a bullshit ejection in context, but understandable in the moment. A number of the guards were all wrapping Cousins around the screen prior. Including Buddy every time he was screened with Cousins. Seeing that happening early in the second I just knew that was how it would go down.
If he had more of a history I wouldn't be so keen to give him the benefit of a doubt, but this seems pretty unintentional.

You can throw two men down a flight of stairs a hundred times and not once find either guy's hand in the other's crotch.

Might be the realest thing I have read today..
By blackace Go To PostI have never seen or heard of someone who couldn't control their hands while simply running
Like I said, go watch the game, every single screen Buddy was switched with Cousins he wrapped him. Same goes for most of the guards. It seemed to be some sort of strategy knowing refs let a lot of that go with Cousins.
Maybe it was intentional, but his past history doesn't suggest any type of behavior like this. You watch everything before and after it looks like a player just going through the motions. Went over to the sidelines and started looking at Erman's iPad like many other breaks. Then in pure shock when the call happened.

Feel free to actually watch the game. I won't stop you. He literally did that same motion of wrapping his arm around Cousins body on the screen every single time he was switched with him(got called for it a few minutes earlier as well). The play following right after that first holding foul on Hield, Hill was wrapping and holding Cousins. It clearly seemed like a strategy.
Maybe he did do this one intentionally, got carried away with the situation(it was getting pretty petty on both sides) but its hard to come to that conclusion watching the game in context and the rest of Buddy's games.
By s y Go To PostAgain, watch the game, Buddy and other guards were wrapping and holding all game prior.
at least buy him dinner first
By reilo Go To PostJon, there's better hills to die on than that one lolA hill analogy/threat? Really? What is this every annoying GAF thread that carries a non group-think opinion?

He didn't knife punch him in the dick other times.
I am the last person to ride for DMC

By reilo Go To PostThe hell are you so damn mad for? It's just an expression.I wasn't mad. Bordering on frustrated, sure, still am. Kinda happens when you try and point something out casually and all you get is a bunch of shit like above.
He wrapped him, like on every switch prior. Was it intentional? Sure, possibly. Visually out of context it looks like it. But seeing that same motion a half dozen switches prior makes me think it may not be and probably wasn't.
But fuck it, I'll leave you all to it.
The question is, does it really make a difference?
Not much context required for a wolf palm to the dick
Not much context required for a wolf palm to the dick
By s y Go To PostThe question is, does it really make a difference?I mean it sort of changed the momentum of the game, but in the large scheme of things, if he doesn't grab any more dicks on the court, intentionally or not, probably not. I'll give you that. And the public perception is clearly already cemented.
Hopefully it rejuvenates December Buddy Hield. Thats all I can hope for. And if some decent memes come out of it, I can live with that.
The biggest problem was before he arm wrapped him was he fully extended into DMC's groin. He was waist wrapping him before. The ref's were watching the whole game as well and felt that shit should have been avoided

“New York is the greatest city on the planet, I think. But you’re not a New Yorker if you don’t wake up some days and be like ‘man, fuck this place.’”
Laughing my ass off at Carmelo's comment he made in 2015.
Sean Kilpatrick with an excellent article here: http://www.theplayerstribune.com/sean-kilpatrick-the-lox-a-yonkers-tale/
He talks about growing up in the projects, recognizing the need to leave NY, riding the bench in college as a red shirt freshman, struggling in the D-League, learning to say "No", and how he first met Jadakiss.

And so it has come to this.
In what year do we just admit stupidity and waive both Deng and Moz's contracts? After year two? Three?
By Moris Go To PostThat's how you do jersey logos, the bar has been set.I'm envious of their overall branding too.
Knowing the Thunder our sponsor will be some local oil company and it'll clash like the atrocious Nets jersey patch.

after this year pls basedgod Magic Johnson.
By diehard Go To PostSo we got a cancer awareness badge and got someone else to pay for it? Thats pretty niftyNow just have a WCF run and it will the best Jazz season in ... 20 years?
By giririsss Go To PostNow just have a WCF run and it will the best Jazz season in … 20 years? When's the last time a team went from out of the playoffs to the conference finals without acquiring a top 10 player in the offseason though? Right now our most probably seed is either 4th or 5th, which means GSW in the second round. Just getting past the first round will be really tough.

I don't think you can beat GSW. But I do believe you can beat just about everyone else.
Though i imagine the mental breakdowns that will happen if the jazz play HOU and Harden averages 30FTA.
By Fenderputty Go To PostI would actually root for the Jazz to beat GS and that makes me feel extremely dirty.
Don't think i'd be rooting for either. But would certainly watch every game. Would be enjoyable.
BTW, and yes, i KNOW this sounds dirty, and would never happen.
But Blake Griffin for Favors sort of works really well for the Jazz.

By s y Go To PostI don't trust Blake Griffin's health and his game has been declining.Don't think it's declining. Just stagnating.
Magic said on CBS his businesses can run w/o much from him. “I patterned my businesses like Oprah. I always wanted to be the male Oprah.”
Ok?
By blackace Go To PostOk?YOU GET A DRAFT PICK for a disgruntled vetYOU GET A DRAFT PICK for a malcontent headcaseYOU GET A MAX CONTRACT for a B-Tier agent
By Marc SpearsThe Cleveland Cavaliers have traded the contract of Chris Andersen and cash considerations to the Charlotte Hornets for a protected second round pick.
Andersen is out for the year with a torn ACL and will be waived by the Hornets.
Cleveland will save approximately $2.5 million on the luxury tax with the move.

I haven't really analyzed Protected Second Round Pick's game, is he much of a playmaker?
By blackace Go To PostAlso, MJ sitting down Oakley and Dolan.. I would pay Mike Tyson pay-per-view prices to see that..For those who may not have seen this:
By livefromkyoto Go To Posthttp://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/244885/Cavs-Trade-Chris-Andersen-To-HornetsWorst case scenario, he won't be a cap hit.

That'd be really great for the Jazz. Lets Griffin create for others a lot more which is a skill he doesn't get to use enough of with the Clips. It won't happen though.
Beal has improved by a lot and im not sure how its happened
