By Koko Go To PostJust saw that Jabari went down :(What are your thoughts on Denver and Jokic since you the only Nuggets fan here.
He was looking so explosive :(
I think Jokic and Harris are two players to lock up. Get rid of Faried.
So. i just watched the Fultz vs Lonzo game.
I fear Lonzo's game is perfectly tailored to college ball and will struggle to translate into the NBA. The awkward (and slow) release. The "pass first" point guard ... whose passes are never quite right. Always slightly off.
If it does, he'll be great. I just think he's hit a sweet spot in NCAA ball. Much like Hansbrobrobrobro did.
Fultz looks legit.

By diehard Go To PostSome dude on Sportcenter was going off on a tangent about how its not cool that the Jazz use the same logo that they used to use in New Orleans for like 2 minutes, then they proceeded to show more Pelicans highlights than Jazz ones in a game in which they lost by 33. Screw ESPN, damn.I think that dude cares more about the name than anyone in Utah or Louisiana.
By masud Go To PostThere could (theoretically) be jazz in Utah. Ain't no lakes in LA though.

there are like 4 or 5 lakes in Los Angeles, an embarrassment of lake riches.
By Moris Go To Postthere are like 4 or 5 lakes in Los Angeles, an embarrassment of lake riches.
Lake Castaic I think is the largest, but it's basically a damn that creates a reservoir if I'm not mistaken. I think most Lakes in Cali are like this. Lakerland is basically north up to Santa Barbara and south to san diego and east to the middle of nowhere. If you broaden your scope to include these locations you can add Lake Perris, Lake Elsinore, Lake Cachuma, Diamond Valley Lake, Silverwood Lake, Lake Casitas, Lake Pyramid and Puddingstone.

Well the term Knickerbocker is integral to the history of New York because our team wasn't stolen.

Goal post movement in ways never seen since Dolan thought of another reason to throw Oakley out of his building.
This Oakley Stephen A interview is amazing.
Apparently Dolan wants to be informed whenever Oak walks into MSG and every time Oak goes to MSG security detail is responsible for following him around

Derrick Williams will sign a 10-day deal with the Cavaliers.
This means he cleared waivers after the Heat waived him on Monday. The Cavaliers don't have a lot of financial flexibility, but they were always expected to pounce on players that have been bought out. He averaged 5.9 points and 2.9 rebounds for the Heat and shot a career-low 39.4 percent from the field, but maybe playing next to LeBron James will open things up for him.
EDIT: We're still waiting to hear if Williams has officially signed his 10-day deal with the Cavs. With LeBron James, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love all iffy for tonight's game for rest purposes, the Cavs need all the help they can get and Williams could see action right away. We should know more soon.
Apparently he's still deciding IF he should sign it... dude, don't be an idiot. Sign that shit.
By reilo Go To PostKnew it. The way he planted the knee and the buckle I've seen happen in football way too many times. Jamaal Charles-like, this dude's career is in serious jeopardy now.

plus, I live in the OC, everywhere I go, trophy blonde wives everywhere.
I dunno though, I've been warming up to the idea of dating asian girls lately.
but not the mousy ones, though. those I'll leave for giri.
damn, the Bucks and NBA fans might get robbed of a great talent. Jabari was starting to look like mini-lebron.
Unfortunately watching live you just knew it. Then when the announcers confirmed it looked like the same knee it just compounded it.
Actually just his second knee injury. Missed his senior year of HS with a foot injury, remembered it as a knee injury.
It's so sad because he looked like he made an incredible recovery, and to re-tear the same ACL... :(
The ACL is the worse of the tendons to tear too right? Not that any of them are good tears, but it seems like the MCL is one that doesn't always need reconstructive surgery.
No, not anymore. You can expect a near if not full recovery these days -- not sure on a second tear. It's the Achilles and degenerative knees where you lose cartilage that's the worst.

So at worst just a longer recovery time. Hope he can pull through. He's only like what, 21 or so?

Hope this isn't true ....
Where's our resident doctor at?
I loved this line from the ESPN story:
"Theory."
you can be sure that there will be more wrinkles to this story, more evidence to support the theory that there's dysfunction at Madison Square Garden.

Nicks fans need to do what Dodger fans did when McCourt was fucking the team up and boycott game and TV. It sucks not watching the team but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

So... you don't regenerate ligaments.
The ACL is the little ligament / tendon that runs across the front of your knee cap and keeps everything in place / from twisting.
They can replace the tendon (Which is what ACL surgery is really about) by taking it from somewhere else on your body. Frequently your Patellar tendon (runs vertically across the knee cap, where the ACL runs diagonally) or hamstring.
The problem being, for a second tear, and this is purely guess work on my end, is that to anchor the tendon, they make tiny holes in your bone and secure it to those.
If your tear it again.... more holes?
He looked explosive coming back because most of the post surgery recovery is exclusively built around building up all of your leg muscles around the knee (high calf, lower thigh) so that when you land and turn those muscles are taking the stress not the ligament.
It really sucks if it's the same knee. And that's truly unfortunate.
By reilo Go To PostI mean. no one believes that the knicks, particularly dolan, wouldn't orchestrate all of their statements.
Knicks aintshit
But at the same time, Oak has been bad mouthing the knicks for a while. I could believe he went on a few rants and ... when you just dropped 1k for your seats you probably aren't that excited to listen to someone just ranting the whole game.
