By blackace Go To PostI don't think Frank last to 10 or 11.. If the Knicks are where they are at today they will be lucky to Fox for a PG.
I think we'll move up. I see us at 6 by the end of the season. Fox isn't bad but that lack of shot is tough, but he doesn't have a broken form. He's a legit PG and Hornecek is a bit of a shot whisperer.
I could see Fox in NY working too, but in my mind it's clear they need superior perimeter Defense more than anything else. A combination of Frank and Lee out there could shore up the biggest issue they have.
Fox is who I want.
Any of those top 5 PGs would be helpful in NY.. but the problem is Dallas, Philly, Sac and Orlando all need PGs.. and maybe Bos LA or Suns trades down to not pick a PG but I doubt it..

6th is a lot of games to lose, but the Heat are streaking so they will fall out the lottery at this rate.. I can see 8th but really depends who is a head of you..

It's a known 10 man draft (11 if somebody takes a risk on OG) teams in the lottery can draft for need and not feel to bad about it. Also I think Monk goes high as hell, his in game plays are crazy and he's not that small. If his floor is Lou Williams you got to think his ceiling is potentially McCollum.

Why do I want to caption this with "let go my eggo"?

But 5 of the 11 are PGs and 2 of the top 3 are 2 of the 5 PGs.. So like I said there are 5 lottery teams that NEED a PG including NY. But teams like Bos and Phx will most likely take the BPA because why draft for need when the BPA has superstar upside?
It's not impossible that it a team drafts for need.. but seems unlikely that they wouldn't simply trade down to a team that wants a PG..

Let Troy Daniels get in your head
He's a 15 year old boy, what do you expect?
Chilling with the GM before the game.
Watching warmups.
This is where I was sitting. I could literally hear Coach Kenny cursing under his breath on the bench.

Course 1: Sushi
To my surprise this was actually quite decent, and one of the better options on offer. The westernized rolls were whatever, but the rice was well prepared and not too tight. The fish was fresh. The pickled ginger was legit. I could've eaten a lot more but I had other things to get to.

Course 2: Roast beef, shredded squash, green beans
Another winner. The roast beef was quite good, although I feel it lost more juice than it should have because they were slicing it so thin. That was somewhat ameliorated by the excellent sauces that were available. The squash was a highlight, perfect texture and not too sweet. The green beans were nice and crunchy. Quite satisfying.

Looks p good for arena food, Forever.
By s y e Go To Postare those tortilla chips in the bottom left?Lol everything is fried to you isn't it?
Course 3: Barbecued chicken, corn bread, chickpeas and broccoli
While the chicken did not have an optimal texture, they boasted of the sauces made in Brooklyn, and let me tell you those hipsters know what they're doing. These barbecue sauces were amazing and singlehandedly saved the dish with layers upon layers of rich flavor. The corn bread unfortunately was a bit dry and otherwise unremarkable, but the chickpeas and broccoli served their purpose fine.

All that cooking oil is too expensive for him. You think he can afford to deep fry all his poverty meals?
It's been a while since Forever post his ice cream food fetish.
Course 4: Cheese and mushroom ravioli with caesar salad
A return to form. This was good stuff. I've had better marinara, but the ravioli fillings were nice, and when piled with cheese and red pepper it had a good depth of flavor that I found quite delightful. I've never been a huge fan of caesar salad, but I can find nothing to complain about with regards to their execution here or the dressing.

Cooking oil is only expensive if you change it...
Course 5: Sliders with a chili cheese dog
A nod to traditional arena junk food. The hot dog did evoke a bit of nostalgia for the days before halal stands when hot dogs were ubiquitous on the streets of New York and could be acquired for a dollar. This was probably the most filling course of the night. However, after four courses of relatively fine dining this simply felt like a step down in sophistication and quality. The sliders were rather dry; I like my patties on the rare side and these were cooked through. The dog, while loaded, felt like something one might eat on Coney Island rather than in the exclusive suites of the Barclays Center.

Course 6: Boneless buffalo chicken and vegetable sticks
The low point of the night. I neglected to get the dipping sauce, but it didn't really matter because the chicken was way too salty and I just couldn't fuck with this, even with the vegetables there to soften the blow.

Course 7: Chicken wontons, kimchi fried rice, and honey wasabi fries
These three were all offered together, because we all know that Korean, Japanese, and Chinese food are practically the same thing right? Regardless, I quite liked the wontons despite them being on the salty side. The fries might be the most fascinating thing I had all night; it really shouldn't work, but somehow it does. I wouldn't call it a slam dunk, but it was good and it was new, and I appreciate novelty. The kimchi fried rice however was overcooked, did not taste like kimchi, and was an insult to five generations of my family.

Course 8: Shrimp cocktail
After the salty, heavy dishes it was really good to wind down with some sweet and simple shrimp. They were fresh, cleaned and cooked properly. It's really hard to mess this up and they did not. The horseradish, lemon, and cocktail sauce are what they are and do not get in the way of the simple pleasure of shrimp.

Final Round: ICE CREAM (actually frozen yogurt)
I just realized that I didn't get a proper photo of what I actually did with that machine and those condiments, but suffice it to say that I was determined to get my friend's money's worth. Whatever room I had left in my digestive tract was promptly filled with cold dairy product of the vanilla variety. My toppings of choice were these crushed nuts and some really fantastic crunchy chocolate pellets. Along with a complimentary beer and some seltzer, this concluded my pillaging of Barclays Center food.
There were various pastries available as well but at this point I had eaten above and beyond the call of duty and regrettably could not accommodate another bite.

Some dude on Sportcenter was going off on a tangent about how its not cool that the Jazz use the same logo that they used to use in New Orleans for like 2 minutes, then they proceeded to show more Pelicans highlights than Jazz ones in a game in which they lost by 33. Screw ESPN, damn.
Oh, that reminds me. I got to heckle Trey Burke and I'm pretty sure he heard and noticed because he then shot an airball.
Then again he probably would've shot an airball anyway.

Whoah, synchronicity...I just finished the last episode of Breaking Bad like 5 minutes ago. Man, did that series ever stick the landing.
I kind of hate that Embiid is in the Raptors' division, but I'm also glad I get to see my team play him 4 times a year.
