By Red Blaster Go To Postmight have to consider picking ball over fultz after that ucla wash game
fultz doing the 'did nothing when it mattered but padded my stats after the game was over to make it look like i beasted' routine
Comes down to fit at this point.
If I'm Phx, Orlando, Philly, I go Fultz.
If I'm Sota, New Orleans, or Sac I go Ball.
Mavericks and Lakers could go either way. Lakers have a weird guard composition. Ball and Russell would be a bad match. Fultz and Russell would probably be a bit shit as well, but a cleaner fit. Mavs just don't have any kind of guard core at all right now so its whatever.

in order of preference i want DSJ > Fultz > Lonzo if I had my pick of the 3 to pair with D'Tective

Im not totally sold on Ball, he he seems to have that mindset.

But you don't have anyone that's good enough on either side of the ball to lock down the two guard position alongside a ball dominant pass first guard.
Sounds like Bender is out for the season. Damnit he barely got playing time the first half of the season and i was hoping it would increase after we made trades

cp3 perhaps? Rubio maybe, but his jumpshot is shaky. George Hill too imo.
oh, I see what you're doing Phaze, you want us to give you our best pg in Lou Williams.
well, No thank you very much good sir.

I'm just sayin, if Ball is good enough to demand the touches and hold the 1 spot down, D'Tective will end up getting traded, straight up

at what point do we worry about hezonja
By Fenderputty Go To PostThese Jerry West rumors on LA Sports radio need to stop.que? what did i miss?
Reading about the Ball 92-point game, his teammates were apparently fouling the other team intentionally or letting them score so they could get more possessions and hit him with easy outlets.
The fuckery is off the charts. That's not even basketball at that point, might as well just put him in a gym with a chair and a few scouts.

Yea the perimeter guys go for steals and the opposing team is to bad to shoot the midrange so they go to the basket. By then the perimeter defenders are already down the court once the ball is inbounded
But other logos altered their actual logo to look appealing on the jersey, or at the least as non intrusive as possible
Some corporations have very stringent logo usage. Wells Fargo being a prime example. And sometimes (many times) they don't bother creating alternates.

His contract with GS is up this year. There's rumors that GS won't offer him part ownership in the team and that he would be tempted if an "interesting" offer came from LA. His son is still here so he can groom him to replace Mitch as well. The rumors seem to have started from his camp maybe? Phil being gone is stoking the flames too.
I'm don't want to get my hopes up though. Like 50% of my car ride this morning revolved around this lol
Fuckin Jacob you stingy ass give him part ownership. He was the biggest part of your success outside of Myers and the players.

You guys are the new hipster team and will be set for years after you sign KD and Curry this summer. Curious if that makes Jacob less or more willing to give him some ownership.

So would I. They did for Magic. I would imagine they would for West. He likes little Jimmy oddly enough too. So without Phil here, he can come work with his son, Magic, Mitch and good pal Jimmy. Like I said I'm trying not to get my hopes up. It was a long drive to work this morning so it was hard not to get hyped at the thought lol
Really good Barkley interview on Mike and Mike today. Anyone listen to it? Talked about LaMelo Ball, LeBron, Knicks among other things...
Jackson has resisted a transparent approach of simply meeting with Anthony and his representative and telling them that the organization prefers to trade him and wants to work to find an agreeable solution. That approach might have convinced Anthony to be more open to accepting a trade, league sources said, but Jackson’s insistence on public over private communication has severely damaged the relationship – likely beyond repair.

It's a don't even think just do it decision.
If the rumor is true anyway.
West has a proven track record. You don't give that up. Especially if he can stay until the team gets older and use his magic to rejuvenate the team like the Spurs.
West has publicly throw Lacob under the bus for some of his annoying cocky comments. He can and will leave if he isn't shown that he's valued enough.
Without being crass, West could be dead by the time the Warriors age out. The Lakers would be a fitting challenge for him at this point in his career if he's still passionate about the business.
I mean that's what I'm saying. Try to keep him before he gets too old and retires.
He wants a challenge, but he wants to win and have the tools and keys to make it happen. I don't know many teams that could offer him that.
Minnesota, Milwuakee?

Truly.
Which sucks. Because NBA reporting needs competition.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI'm just trying to summon giri
It sucks because he was starting to put together some stretches looking good, when he was getting minutes at the 4/5 instead of the 3.
Oh well. We're going to solidify that No.2 spot i guess.

Yeah there's been a bunch (suns posted some too).
Sigh.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostwaitYeah. Early on in the season they had him exclusively playing the 3. Expecting him to work as a floor spacer.
bender was playing the three?
It... didn't work out.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI wonder if Bledsoe would tear a locker room apart if forced into a sixth man role again
Because we'll draft a guard again?
I think you leave Bledsoe starting, while the rook finds his pace. Then trade Bledsoe mid season.
And Knight.
Just go all in on Booker / Pick / Ulis. Give them the minutes they need to develop and find their place.
It's annoying a bit because Bledsoe is starting to put it together. But .... too late? Will his window be relevant when Booker and co start to hit theirs? And i'm still unconvinced about how good he is at running half court sets.
It's not worth, not taking, the BPA in the draft, to protect Bledsoes feelings.

By Kibner Go To PostAll that interlacing. lolAssume it was part of a FB video post. And all of those are terrible.
Fun little vid, though.
Biggest concerns with Bledsoe are health and running an offense on a championship caliber team. He is just not good enough at creating for others. I see him in a place like houston where he is a secondary ball handler and if he gets the ball its to score
