Thats a good place for Jah. He needs a PF that can cover his ass on defense but also not get in his way on offense. Davis spends enough time on the perimeter too.
By DY_nasty Go To Posthilarious if jrue ends up back in phillyNO can't send out jrue.
He's their only guard worth a shit.
AD is the only guy in the league that could maybe help Jah make it, but I just don't know. Jah's a bit like Kanter without any rebounding... Maybe he'll improve his rebounding and passing and defense by a lot though.

Yeah, AD + Jah makes sense. Okafor will bang inside, which Davis doesn't want to do.
NO hasn't had luck trading away their picks, so they may be gunshy.
By Moris Go To PostJah was supposed to bring back the post up big man.
He has the best post skills I've ever seen for a 21 years old or younger player.
But he's so bad at everything else.
By masud Go To PostKnicks shock the world tonight. Calling it.what, by winning against a tank team?
Knick fans standard of expectations sure has fallen
By Kabro Go To Postwhat, by winning against a tank team?Um no by losing duh. #tanklife

By masud Go To PostUm no by losing duh. #tanklifewe're getting pretty gud at tanking.
I want your reaction when you behold our 2nd half collapse.
Okafor went from being viewed as better than KAT and Porzingis and Turner two years ago to being worth a 2018 pick now. D:
By knux-future Go To PostJah for Ajinca/Protected 1st.yeah.. the 6ers want picks!
well..ok I guess
By heartplaya Go To Postdid boozer ever officially retire?
By reilo Go To PostI'm not opposed to this.
but why
By DY_nasty Go To Posthilarious if jrue ends up back in phillyNah, they love him and want to resign him. One of the few they want to resign.
By knux-future Go To PostJah for Ajinca/Protected 1st.I would also be OK with this.
well..ok I guess
BroLo's ability to shoot the three is nice and his defense is far better than Jah's, but he's rather slow footed for the pace the Pels want to play at.
By pilonv1 Go To PostI think they could get Lopez for a first.
Lopez would be a better fit with Davis but probably needs a better deal than Okafor
But i don't think the Pels should be trading for a guy with injury history as long as Lopez's.

By pilonv1 Go To PostI wonder who is going to take Asik tho since Philly wont?No one. :(
Yeah Woj been going off on twitter about the trade.
I think they're right to value their pick. But i find C an ... interesting choice of position for them to be focusing on upgrading.
I would have thought SG/SF was more important.

By giririsss Go To PostYeah Woj been going off on twitter about the trade.SF has always been more important but they also don't have a center worth playing and Davis hates playing down there.

I feel Jah can develop more to his game if he goes somewhere that gives him regular minutes. He's worth more in certain places than others.
By reilo Go To PostBlazers fans saying Olshey should be going after Jah and I'm thinking they just don't get it.He has the skills the Blazers coach likes
By Kibner Go To PostSF has always been more important but they also don't have a center worth playing and Davis hates playing down there.
Right. But at some point he has to grow up and get over it.
SF also seems to be in a weird spot around the league at the moment where there are a lot of ... bad ones.
By giririsss Go To PostRight. But at some point he has to grow up and get over it.Well, the more he plays center, the more often he gets hurt. So it's not just his preference but a basketball reason, too.
Jah makes no sense in my mind in a Gentry system.
Then again I am about done with the Pelicans anyways.
I feel like they can't make up their mind to actually rebuild or cash in and go for broke. So we are just doing the worst of both ideas. Hanging on to Jrue with no guarantee he will stay. Giving up future first rounders for another odd fitting center. Trying to chase the 8 seed while kicking us out of contention for the major prospects this year but not wanting to cash that pick in.
So next year we very well may be looking at: Frazier, Hield, Hill, Davis, Okafor, a 10-13 draft pick, and possibly no 2018 first rounder.

The first LA/NY game of this season was when my hunch that neither team was any good became solidified.

All joking aside playing Moz less might be addition from subtraction. He's been so damn awful lately.
5 games in 7 nights. After like four 3 in 4s the last two months. FFS
I can't even blame Casey for wearing out Lowry. DeRozan's out, Patterson's been hurt, and the rest of the team's either too young or playing too poorly for the to have any shot without him playing like 40 minutes. They'd be getting blown out every night instead of losing by 4.

Black has stone hands but he hustles and gets boards. Nance being back is a plus too, he does so much with his minutes.
By Kabro Go To PostTrap game lakerbros. Knicks gonna Knicks im afraid.
Fear the same. They played really well against Boston for most of the game, if they play with that same intensity this might be a W.

Moz over the last 10 games is averaging:
5.4 RPG, 5.3PPG, 1Blk, 1AST
Black (about the same minutes give or take 1 min):
6.2 RPG, 6.7PPG, 0.4BLK, 0.7AST
This is mostly meant as a slight against our 64 million dollar center

I've already conceded the #4 pick to Philly in my mind. Set yourself free.
