last season Tristan Thompson was almost a 130.
If you put much stock into personal offensive and defensive rating, Gobert is a god.

Big men offensive ratings don't mean much unless you're taking outside shots
By domino Go To Post#10 like "aw man i was gonna take a charge but uh…um…yeah"
He made a business decision
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostBig men offensive ratings don't mean much unless you're taking outside shotsBy that logic, it doesn't matter for perimeter players that are getting assisted on just as large a percentage of their shots as the typical rim-running big man.
For the record, Gobert is being assisted on 74% of his shots this season while Porter is being assisted on 73% of his 2pt shots and 98% of his 3pt shots.

Curry being only assisted on 60% of his threes? Phew. It was below 55% last season, that's just silly. Klay, in comparison, is at 93%.

It's not really about assisted or not, but the type of shots they are taking. Big men who just dunk the ball and finish oops can't be held to the same standard as someone hitting threes and mid range jumpers consistently.

Sounds about right. Didn't Klay drop 60 without dribbling for 30 minutes?
By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostSounds about right. Didn't Klay drop 60 without dribbling for 30 minutes?11 dribbles, but, yeah. He's basically what you would get if you had a Korver that was bigger and played good defense.

Big men who just dunk the ball and finish oops can't be held to the same standard as someone hitting threes and mid range jumpers consistently.8 of the top 10 offensive ratings by career are perimeter players. Offensive rating takes into account passing, so thats like saying a guard's offensive rating doesn't matter because some other dude is making the shots.
BTW, don't take this as me thinking Porter is a bad player or anything. He isn't. He's just a role player that is performing his role exceptionally well.
For the record, I also put extremely little stock into individual DRtg. ORtg is much easier to use, but you have to account for USG% and role on a team.
By diehard Go To PostHe has a 63% eFG, thats really great.Definitely.

End of an era. Lakers should pick him up
Sanders?

I thought he was still banned at first, but then I realized that it was a different player and his name was O.J. Mayo.
Confused the two since both had drug issue except one was depressed and the one wasn't.
By Omzz Go To PostA superstar. An all NBA. An All star.
Yeah ok
Just one piece away from getting the 8th seed and competing (for 4 games) against the warriors 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
I dont know what the problem is in what he said.
Before shaq came, the lakers were a first round fodder, and our best player was Cedric Ceballos.
Before Lebron went back to Cleveland, they were shit.
All it takes is the right Piece, a generational one at that, to turn the fortunes around of a franchise.
so yeah he's right in that regard.

By DY_nasty Go To Postlol they're not even close to being 1st round fodderCleveland's situation shows it doesn't matter what the state of a franchise is, all it takes is that one center piece to turn things around.

kibner, could Solomon Hill at PF work defensively against Durant and Blake Griffin and Z-bo and what would it take to trade for Solomon Hill.
