He got a shitload of experience in different managment positions.
Long time fan and born and raised in Liverpool, so there is hardly anything that speaks against him.
Is Klavan injured btw? Lucas death parade I do not want to see of anymore. If he's not injured Klopp needs to change his mind and play him.
Finally tried cemu to see what's all the fuzz about. This shit's so easy and looks really fucking good.
Now give me Zelda!

A lifelong supporter who knows the club for decades and actually watches the team.
Could have been a worse pick, besides a CEO isn't gonna handle everything alone anyway...
Watzke the CEO from Dortmund had a company that produced work clothings and yet, he handled the club so well that we escaped bankruptcy, won the league, cup and played pretty well in the CL.
Obviously a sporting director under him, would be the best decision. Someone that's a bit more involved in the day to day buisness of the first team, but is also connected to the youth and scouting department and directly reports to the coach and the CEO.
Disc Jam is fun but there's no way it'll reach Rocket League levels.
Unless the full release has substantial improvements from this beta, it's a ridiculously barebones game. It won't get the word of mouth Rocket League did imo.

Come to work, absolutely nothing to do today. Not a damn thing. Wish I could say hello and good bye.
Finished Nioh finally.
Very mixed feelings on it but mostly positive. It does sometimes feel like a game that has been in development for too long but I'm definitely interested in the inevitable sequel.
@yurt and mandem, you finished it yet?

My issues with Nioh is the level structure and world—I really don't feel attached at all to the world, and the refreshed missions on Twilight mode are pretty uninteresting. The individual level design is pretty good for the most part.
I'm also not a fan of the item/loot system. It's there purely to make the game more addictive. It doesn't need to be a loot-based game. Having a RNG weapon enhancement system like Bloodborne blood gems or Nier Auto Plug-in Chips would have been enough.
That said they're just minor nitpicks in an overall excellent game.

Nier Automata costs 30 dollars more in Japan than HK for example.

Japan has notoriously high prices for games. Definitely not the cheap option, though it's often the fastest.

I'm trying to get back to champion but i just can't atm.
How can Liverpool become even more of a disaster?
Peter Moore: "hold my beer".
Actually, I'm joking. He can become successful, we have absolutely no idea.

Peter Moore is a name we're familiar with so there's that immediate wtf factor but he's an exec, not really interesting to fans in terms of his work and what he does. His job is entirely unrelated to matters on the pitch, as we have a technical director now for player contract negotiations.
Though it's fair to say that we're pretty much in disaster territory as far as playing performances go.

If he can accelerate our commercial and sponsorship growth, that should be all that matters as long as we have the right people in the other senior roles. Ian Ayre ended up being a bit of a Woodward-lite, became very good at expanding the brand but was pretty obviously poor at getting transfers in, especially in a timely fashion. Hopefully splitting that role across 2 people ends up paying dividends, instinctively I feel like it should never have been the job of one man in the first place.
Fuck knows what position we'll be in for that kind of thing in the summer. Hoped when he came that Klopp's name alone would be a draw for good players who would otherwise be reticent to joing us, but that ain't happened, and is even less likely to happen when his last 3 league positions have been 7th, 8th and 7th again.

We signed Mané last year despite competition from United and Spurs and we all know how that has turned out. There will always be players who can improve us and will be willing to join, especially with Klopp here. Things look bad when you can't beat the worst teams in the league but the building blocks are in place for long term improvement.
I would prefer a steady build rather than a meteoric rise followed by a precipitous drop.

Say what you like about Arsenal, but they never let these runs go on longer than 3 games. I'd kill to know that a shite result is coming against someone unexpected, and they happen too often for them to challenge for the title, but it won't cause a complete season-destroying meltdown.
Hitch if you think Arsenal don't have season destroying meltdowns, let me point you to my friends over at Arsenal FanTV, they have a few choice words after conceding 5 goals in the CL.
By Hitch Go To PostThis season is fucking with my head. 2 months ago I'd have said we're building for sure, but now I feel like we spent the summer dismantling the squad and forgot to replace it.Well you've replaced it in Klopp's image - the first half of the season was markedly better than last season and clearly the kind of team you expect to see Klopp build. But there's a lot of work still to be done.

The foundation is those first six months. For whatever reason that form has been lost but the lack of depth, inconsistent players and lack of leadership all seem like obvious issues.
I think the problem you might have is that you'll try to what you did last summer, buy one ''marquee" signing with a few others to complement it. That could work if you get some absolute steals but what the team needs now is 3/4 players who go straight into the team and push the existing first 11 to the bench or to improve.
But that is tough to do without the money to fund it. Mane might say he turned down United but I feel like if we really wanted but him we would have forced it through, like we did with Mkhitaryan and Pogba. I'm not sure Liverpool can do that...or are willing to do it, in a market where you are almost inevitably paying 'over the odds' for those players with the number of cash rich clubs around right now.

yes. Loved it. Dual putanas for life
Liverpool are probably 4/5 players short of threatening the title. A top striker since Sturridge is dead, a Kante, a real left back, commanding centre half and a top keeper.
They probably sign a few, but the striker will be dropped for Firminho just as he's hitting his stride, the centre half will be paired along side some brain dead moron and the Keeper will catch Liverpool keeperitus and be shit.
Poisoned chalice

Think Liverpool literally just need more quality in their squad across the board. They have a first XI which is competitive when on form, but they've really not got anything past that, and no answers when key players drop out of form.
Problem they've got this summer is that the solution is to spend a lot of money (on quantity and quality), and I don't know whether there's a will to spend the money it takes to take that next step up. You could argue they should try to do this process slowly over many seasons but the problem you run into there is you find your best players leaving due to the relative inertia.

Liverpool's barrier to threatening a title chase is spending power, there are 4 other clubs that can out-spend them, hence their continuing (and rather abusive) molestation of Southampton.
