By Pennywise Go To PostYou should see it in 4k with HDR on.I bet. And the prices for those discs have plummeted recently. They're very reasonable. Fair amount of titles at or under $10 now.
Just amazing.
By FlutterPuffs Go To Postit's a handheld.Isn't it left and right? The vid in the gaming thread shows both having issues.
Seriously though I'd wait until there's more info on the left controller problem. Why should anyone buy a defective piece of hardware?
By Wedward Go To PostThis isn't true.I was under the impression that the hard part was just getting the money together to start construction. Once that happened the banks knew how long it was going to take to get their money back and the club could plan accordingly. Obviously, they didn't have a blank check all those summers but that TV and CL money adds up.
In the absence of trophies that's really Wenger's legacy, no?
Weird

I understand Arsenal fans that think that way. Don't think they're contradicting themselves. Different scenarios.
I'm not on that group tho, I also think the sacking was the right move.
Fences, Jackie and Passengers are out on distros.
What is not out yet is this week's Kicksart The Weekend because the audio file is somehow corrupted at the start. I need to re-do the beginning but I only be home in 2 or 3h.

By Punished Go To PostAwful defending. How much time and space did he have there?
Ah it's a point surely
Spurs officially agreed to sell Bentaleb to Schalke (or more likely Schalke executed a clause in the loan agreement I'm guessing). Heard he's been playing very well for them. Saw something last week or so that indicated the fee that was agreed upon is probably lower than how he's playing, but I'm sure they still are getting a decent amount.
Switch and Zelda preordered btw. Will probably finally get Shovel Knight as well.. heard that it's brutal without a d-pad though so we'll see if I pull the trigger or not before getting a pro controller.
Give me Super Mario Galaxy 3 and I'm all over the Switch.
I know they've a different Mario coming out but w/e.

That Ranieri statement ;_;
Football is about the romance. The moment. The Evra vs Bayern. The Rashford vs Midgetland. The Owen vs City. The Valencia left foot cross. The Ranieri.
Why, Leicester? Why?

Fuck Leicester 😢
Made a profit vs a loss during same period last year (both relatively small). Did not realize Mustafi cost £35m. What is the consensus about his performance?Has he done well? Otamendi was £28.5m initially (max £32m) and he is regularly described as expensive.
My favourite thing about Nigel Pearson is the fact that in the midst of his rant he actually bragged about the fact that he's flexible enough to put his head in the sand

Mustafi is getting overrated by some Arsenal fans. He is a good defender, but he's committing some really silly mistakes. First season here and we are a mess at the back tactically speaking, so tough to rate him.
I like him. Close to Otamendi, he's world class tho. Decent cb. At least he kinda looks like a potential leader for us.
If you think about it, from our summer signings, the least praised buy is probably the one that is doing the best job, Perez, even with his lack of games.
By Meier Go To PostFunny thing is that he also doesn't represent the majority of the people.
I hate this man with every fiber of my being.
Mustafi is doing pretty well imo, especially considering its his first season and he's pretty young compared to the best centrebacks around.
I find centrebacks incredibly hard to pin down, especially when they're new to their clubs. They can be off the radar and suddenly become brilliant in their late 20s, they tend to take longer than other positions imo to adapt to their place in the team, you can find a brilliant a brilliant CB for cheap or a shite one for £50m, and their own performances can be massively reliant on the team around them and the system they're deployed in.

Mustafi is a good CB, with proper coaching him and Kos could make an unstoppable defensive wall (with ospina at the back)
Perez has also been a great player being held back by Wenger not playing him for some reason.

The summer signings were all over the place, and pretty pricey, but that's the market. They're all young and filled obvious needs so I'm not too worried. They'll get the minutes and, if they're good, they'll develop and be Arsenal players through their prime. And if not, well that's the game.
The last few years have been filled with a few stopgap, older signings where we were paying for the decline years of a player. The years before that were paying for players that were way too raw. This seems like a happy medium (though, obviously, you pay for that premium).
Mustafi is athletic and in his prime and I think we're finding that athletic defenders are a huge premium that teams are willing to pay for, even when it comes at the cost of mental lapses/mistakes (David Luiz comes to mind).

I'd love to have Perez at Liverpool btw
Might not excel at anything, but can play as a wide forward or up front, and has that knack for sniffing out a goalscoring chance. Also in the camp of not understanding why he isn't playing a lot more. Iwobi and Walcott (and the players who have played in their stead when unavailable) haven't been so good that Perez isn't in the first team by default, not by a long shot

By Perfect Blue Go To PostPoint me to what mistakes David Luiz has made this season.Protected by the system innit
Let's be honest, you bought him as a player you expect to make a few bad mistakes across the season. He's been annoyingly good and error-free, granted.
