I can see him making Mourinho look like a saint for benching him regularly. It's going to be a quick and fast drop.
He's going to see out his contract and then retire.
If Martínez was still managing I could've maybe seen the possibility of him going back to Everton, but they still wouldn't have beeen able to afford his wages and now there's no way Koeman is at all interested.

I'm eating a mango per day, almost. You have no idea how happy I am.
Seriously though, Argentina sounds bad.
Boardwalk Empire is one of my favourite shows ever. Not sure why the critics didn't adore it... or why I love it more than them. Bit slow, maybe. Bit style over substance.
But fuck me, it looked gorgeous and literally everyone in it is astonishing.
Wait til S3 and 4, Hixx. Cannavale and Jeffrey Wright doing BITS

he'd start because some team paid an assload (by MLS standards) to get him for marketing reasons. the league is still kind of a sideshow attraction in that way.

The only people with their heads further up their ass than Hollywood are journalists who think this actually means anything.
How many articles has David Cox written where he complains about millennials?
BE reminded me of a New Jersey Deadwood. At least it was semi-finished. Deadwood got fucked over and deserved a better ending.
I find people strangely vehement about Ranieri this season
Don't see why they shouldn't sack him if they feel that relegation is becoming more and more likely with him at the helm. At some point the miracle he oversaw last season doesn't provide enough of a fallback for a disastrous season this time around. Avoiding a relegation battle was not an unreasonable demand in August, even if it was accepted that they weren't going to have a great league campaign again.

Fuck Leicester.
If a PREMIER LEAGUE FUCKING TITLE AT LEICESTER CITY doesn't buy you time, there is no hope for anybody.

By n8 dogg Go To PostMail say Ranieri is goneHe has to go. Or you give him one more year. The drop is extraordinary. What a season they had. Is it possible next season? I mean, even close to it? Doesn't seem like it. I'd give him one more season with a short leash, but he's dancing around relegation. Of course if they get relegated, he has to be fired.
But they were close to relegation the year before, and promoted the year before thaf. We're acting as if Leicester being relegation candidates is the outlier, and not the title winning season.
They're getting worse and worse though. There is no indication whatsoever that any more time they give to him will be rewarded with improvement in the team. I'm inclined to be disgusted by the players who clearly can't be arsed rather than the board.
By Perfect Blue Go To Posthttps://www.theguardian.com/film/2017/feb/23/la-la-lands-inevitable-oscars-win-is-a-disaster-for-hollywood-and-for-usWhile I don't agree either that it deserves to win. You can't take an article seriously that starts of with the words 'whitesplaining' and 'mansplaining'

I really hope they get relegated. Deserve nothing less.
Haven't felt this pissed off since Watford gave QSF the boot.
Now watch them replace him with Nigel Pearson or someone equally trash-tier.

If Ranieri gets sacked, Lester deserves the relegation. What he did last year might have been the most impressive in football history.
By Hitch Go To PostStrange, after a very servicable result at Sevilla.
Well decision was probably already made, just waited for the right time.. Probably got a replacement already.
Not sure what to think of it. Obviously what happened last season was fantastic, but it seems like he lost quite a bit of the locker room by all reports... And they are threatened by relegation now. Seems harsh, but an understandable decision in the end.
Welcome to Leicester Roberto Di Matteo!
Sad end to the story, but it really does seem like the players have given up on the system.

I'd have given him a bit more time, but I don't care what you did previously, if you are on course for relegation you should be sacked.
By n8 dogg Go To PostWenger to Arsenal
I'll allow it.
Sacking Ranieri sucks but I can understand it from the club's perspective. Losing all the PL money would hurt and they'd probably lose their best players on top of that. Take into consideration the signings they'd have to make and the work they'd have to do to get promoted again, it wouldn't be an easy task.
Leicester City Football Club has tonight (Thursday) parted company with its First Team Manager, Claudio Ranieri..
Claudio, appointed City manager in July 2015, led the Foxes to the greatest triumph in the Club’s 133-year history last season, as we were crowned champions of England for the first time. His status as the most successful Leicester City manager of all time is without question.
However, domestic results in the current campaign have placed the Club’s Premier League status under threat and the Board reluctantly feels that a change of leadership, while admittedly painful, is necessary in the Club’s greatest interest.
Vice Chairman Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha said: “This has been the most difficult decision we have had to make in nearly seven years since King Power took ownership of Leicester City. But we are duty-bound to put the Club’s long-term interests above all sense of personal sentiment, no matter how strong that might be.
“Claudio has brought outstanding qualities to his office. His skilful management, powers of motivation and measured approach have been reflective of the rich experience we always knew he would bring to Leicester City. His warmth, charm and charisma have helped transform perceptions of the Club and develop its profile on a global scale. We will forever be grateful to him for what he has helped us to achieve.
“It was never our expectation that the extraordinary feats of last season should be replicated this season. Indeed, survival in the Premier League was our first and only target at the start of the campaign. But we are now faced with a fight to reach that objective and feel a change is necessary to maximise the opportunity presented by the final 13 games.”
