By Zabojnik Go To PostYeah, amp + your usual AV receiver. I was thinking two pairs of speakers as well, but I realize that's not practical (or economical) for most people.
Yeah that's besides expensive also not very practical. A more logical way of doing something like that would be having a surround receiver that can also do stereo music pretty good. And just listen to the left and right channel when listening to music and the whole set-up when watching a movie. Though to be honest, surround receivers never do the stereo part as good as a dedicated stereo amp.

However, if it's a pairing of a quality AV receiver + quality speakers it's still MILES better than the bluetooth and what have you cheap streaming / wireless alternatives people tend to buy these days.

Yeah agreed. Whenever I have customers in the shop it's always key to really find out how important it is for them to have surround sound. Because in most cases it turns out they're better of with a stereo amp.
One of the few AV receivers we have I really dig would be the Cambridge CXR200. But that's a 2000 euros AV receiver. So there's that.
By Woodenpapangus Go To PostI'm glad Dillinger finally paid up their sponsorship deal. They owe much to your marketing campaign on here.

Was actually considering getting the 120, but then I had a heart to heart talk with my bank account and went with a lowly Sony instead, since I was able to get a brilliant deal on it thanks to friend much like you (works in retail).

One day.
No way they'd call it "Sin Bin" in England. They'd have some awesome British name for it like "isolated location designated for players who contravene the laws set by the English Football Association governmental body"

The 120 is a great machine. My go to AV receiver for people that don't have the biggest wallet but do wanna spend some money on a great system that performs well in stereo too. Paired with a CXU that's a great multimedia system.

Seems largely ineffective.
Seconds last show of the tour for me tonight. My whole body hurts today.
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostIf you could direct any piece of fiction, literary or otherwise, what would it be?
for me, it would be a remake of Metropolis
A bit of a weird choice but I would remake The Lovely Bones. I loved the book and Peter Jackson shit the bed with the adaption.
The FFVII remake sounds like another huge fucking mess in the making for Square Enix. This fucking company, man.
By Zabojnik Go To PostThe FFVII remake sounds like a huge fucking mess in the making. Fucking Square Enix, man.Of course it is. Nomura has always needed a head honcho to crack the whip just so he gets his shit inline or else he gets easily distracted. I expect it to be announced as a PS5 launch title.
Think I would rather stick glass up my arse then watch another game between Man Utd and Hull. West Ham vs Man City should be a laugh though.
Good fucking GOD do not remake Metropolis. It is perfect as is.
If you're that into the idea for a remake just watch this:

By Zabojnik Go To PostFinally the cheesy Ninja Gaiden sequel we were robbed of with Dark Souls. #IBlameMiyazakiNinja Gaiden 2 wasn't cheesy enough for you?
what a fucking GAME
Haven't played it, actually. Not sure why, as I count NG1 amongst my favourite games. Just wasn't in the mood for it at the time, I guess.
By Zabojnik Go To PostThe FFVII remake sounds like another huge fucking mess in the making for Square Enix. This fucking company, man.No shit, it's Nomura.
If Genesis is still in the game I'll buy the disc just to blend it to dust.

Interestingly the closest comparison I can think of is Dark Souls vs Bloodborne, where one will fucking rip you to shreds if you even THINK about turtling like a bitch while the other encourages it (NGB)
Yes, I'm in the minority that think NG2 > NGB, or at least combat-wise, which is all that should matter.
you'll probably hate it if you liked the puzzle sections of the first and the backtracking because there's none of that, just pure action.
that was back in your reviewing/hustling years right? Maybe you were burned out :p
I imagine Donnarumma will sign a new contract with Milan soon, as it should be. Seeing Milan fans turning against him at the mere thought of Gigio not extending it, thus giving new life to the Gigi -> Gigio rumors ... is quite something. Quite something indeed.
Imagine if Mino the Cunt made it happen though, solo immagina.

FF7 was always going to be a mess.
Yeah me too. Great guy, but lost way too much quality over the last two years.

By Ciaran Go To PostI doubt he'll move to an Italian club (and when I say Italian club I only mean Juve), IF and that's a gigantic IF, it'll be abroad and for a ridiculous contract.Yeah, I don't think Gigio has any intention of leaving Milan, plus Mino won't push him. Tough negotiator as he is, doing so would burn down the bridge with Milan forever, and that's just not in Mino's interest, nevermind the player's.
Idea of an episodic RPG of any sort seems fundamentally unpalatable to me. Will wait until all episodes are out until playing. If I make it that far.

All those goals, still remember him running rampant on Hazard's debut matches with him.

Probably the most deserved MVP award ever. YES MARIONE
the Tuttosport cover was sensational too! Glad he's getting some well deserved love
our turning point this season wasn't so much the formation as much as it was shifting HIM wide
I miss Billy Jones' hair.
Football's never been the same since he came back that summer with short back and sides.
When will people learn that hair has magical properties. If you have a beard, you fuckin' keep it or bad things will happen. Same goes for people who have thick hair but decide to shave it off - you're a loon and you deserve the bad that is heading your way.

I'm willing to give it a shot. I liked the episodic style of Kentucky Route Zero, Half Life 2 and Life is Strange. Not RPGs but I think it can work
