would be great, but unfortunately Monaco and not going to happen (baring something silly in the race)
I think Ferrari hopes Vettel will get Kimi at the start, otherwise I'm extremely curious if they will tell Kimi to let Sebastian pass.

Still amazed no one crashed.
Ferrari has just said goodbye to everyone. Praying Verstappen and Ric can catch up to Bottas. Ferrari 1-2 and RB 3 would be perfect.

There was zero need for Kimi to stop early, nicely done by Ferrari ;)
Max sounded pissed :P , understandable from him but for the team it worked.

Kimi got done by Ferrari tactick and Verstappen by RBR, in the end for both teams it did not matter, but those two will probably not be happy.
Sainz solid as best of the rest and Lewis minimising loss after disastrous qualifying.
It all got bit silly in the last 10 laps :P

Indy500 lads, fast cars means highspeed crashes, unbelievable Dixon stepped out of this car. lucky boy!!
By Spengo Go To PostThis is gold.
reminds me of a tv show we had when I was young, caravan racing around Zandvoort not with Aston Martins ;)
.... they also had DAF backwards races as those cars went as fast backwards as forwards :P
Another race weekend, this time we go to Montreal for the Canadian GP on the circuit Gilles Villeneuve.
Mix of race track and street, means walls close at exits and the most famous of them is turn 14 (chicane) aka the wall of champions
Home race for Lance Stroll, hope for the kid he can handlle the extra pressure because he is in need of a faultless/speedy weekend.
And it is Sebastian vs Seagull part 2 ;) For Ferrari being able to beat the Mercs on a power track like this and add to that Lewis his record on this track, it would make them the absolute title candidates for me (I Know season is long :p).

and we are of, ,low grip fun
Close again, RBR when the car is running closer than I expected, midfield close as always with Merc power helping FI/Wil.
And Renault must be truly happy that Honda gets all the lols, because they are also 3 cars (engines) "down" after 2 FP sessions :(
This is like a rowdy classroom.

Verstappen in Hamilton/Raikonnen times. Mercedes must have a qualifying mode up their sleeve.
RIP Palmer and Stroll. They died as they raced: way behind their teammates
They will have extra power(Lewis was well down on his fastest lap-speed), but if it will be enough to beat the Ferrari's .........we are probably talking less than tenths again. If Max get's anything better than 5th, for RBR on a power track, than that would be amazing.
Nico's lap was amazing, he went full risk through that last chicane!
And Lance and Palmer miles away from their team mates, would not be to surprised if Palmer hits a wall trying to up his pace.

I thought Valteri was going to bin it when we 1st saw it, but amazing safe to just keep it out of the wall
The Mercedes seem skittish out of that particular corner. Lewis nearly binned it in the wall there as well. Same place, down to the inches almost.

Wehrlein error stops people improving, still the usual suspects out in Q1, Palmer not complaining about Pascal ;)

Looks real close upfront, no room for errors

Kvyat hitting wall in Q2 just cost him place in Q3?
shit Merc ppoooooooooooooooooooooower, what a lap by lewis
Sebastian on it , still to close to call :P

What a final lap by Lewis (New track record and equals Senna poles, only Schumi left to beat)
Valteri & Kimi well of their team-mates
Shame Max couldn''t get the last sector right and Massa beating the FI

Glad they brought the "boat/raft race fun" back, was and should always be part of a Canadian GP!!
30+ minutes before start, reading one and two stops from speed are equal so expect top teams to go for one. Those that get stuck behind someone could roll the dice and those further back (midfield) will definitely try it and win out on some SF-car period (just seeing it is extremely windy in Montreal, add an extra safety-car to the mix ;) ).
Now just a clean start with some action like the previous years to add some spice to the race (defending/passing last chicane)
