FP2 is more set-up time and than last 45 minutes long runs, to test tire wear for the race.
FP3 is seeing what you learned from day 1 and make changes and last 15 minutes prepare for qualifying.
So race weekend starts on Saturday, Friday is just for the F1 nerds ;)

Nah, would say that the Ferraris/Mercs are to close to the others (midfield) for it being real pace, but maybe the extra heat in tires is slowing them down. If so shame for RBR we have night Q/R sessions, still expect a Lewis pole in a fight with the Ferrari.
Still, a second row for either Max or Daniel would be a good result for them :D
