sometimes people can't be arsed or they have very little time to spare and they'd rather play something else, it's understandable.

however I think there should be some sorta automatic forfeit system in place, where if you miss 2 or 3 scheduled* games your opponent automatically goes through, no?

and when I say scheduled I don't mean by Blatter Rhodes, but by the two players in question between each other

We can play in the weekend, maybe Sunday if that's okay without you. Perfect day for a final.

However, I do have hopes that Arnie steps forward until then.

If he doesn't, there's also the chance of giving LAM the pass to play you first?

IDK. For me going rogue is fine in the sense that we can skip that one game we don't know if it's going to happen tomorrow or next month or ever, but I'd love for Nathan to sanction an official solution with that in mind: the final is played this Sunday.

Suggestion: 2 days (Friday and Saturday) for Arnie x LAM to happen. Get the message to Arnie to know about his availability.

If it happens, follow that with the legit semi on the same day or until early Sunday at the latest.

If it doesn't happen because Arnie couldn't play, either the LAM game or the semi (in case he plays LAM and wins), the other one goes forward, LAM to play vs Zabo or Zabo to play vs me.

Nate, the bottom line is like you said, this is not very important, so skipping that one game isn't very important either. The fact that all of this isn't very important should be counted towards eliminating those who cannot play, in lieu of other life activites, as it's not a big deal to do so, and there's always the next tourney to redeem themselves.

The opposite is penalizing for people waiting to have some more fun with all this, some have even bought the game to play in future tournaments, some will soon have vacations etc.

Sunday the final, bastardized or legit up to you Nathan. Get in lad. I know it's tough. But it's for the best.
