McCain announces support for the Senate tax bill.
Figures that the one thing to finally pass would be a bill that personally benefits most congressmen, senators, and higher-ups in the administration.

It’s such an odd stance to take as well. It’s effectively blowing up healthcare under under the same conditions of his infamous “no” vote. Tax money is his price apparently
I remember people praising McCain for blocking the healthcare vote. What about now that he's gonna fuck up taxes and fuck up healthcare in a single vote?
Leave your lucrative job as a de facto head of state to get fired in less than a year by President Toddler brehs
They're going to use this bill ballooning the deficit to cut Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. (And later on, public schools, as part of their larger effort to push Americans towards dangerous charter schools.) They'll say that the budget doesn't work, the cuts have to come somewhere, the programs were going to run out of money anyway, etc.
God, I really despise the Republican party.

McCain is a piece of shit. He concern trolls the general populace and then does nada to back it up.
Anyone who's surprised or expected differently is nothing but a damn fool, even in the light of his own recent condition(s).

He was never interested in saving ACA, he was just being a petty motherfucker that cares about procedure and sticking it to other congresspeople he despises. That's why he voted 'no' last time, not because he suddenly became a senator with empathy and cares about his constituents.

At a nearby Subway sandwich shop, Civeta Boyd, a 24-year-old hairstylist, said she might have heard Mr. Moore’s name on the news. But she was not sure. There has, of late, been a blizzard of stories about American men acting badly.
“Roy Moore?” Ms. Boyd said, between bites of a salad. “He was a news anchor, something like that?”

That stuff is never going to happen in America. We’re not as educated as some other parts of the world
We’re bred to believe education is for coastal eliotes and the only medicine we need is Jesus. I can’t afford the estate tax with my one bedroom apartment in bumblefuck Alabama, damn liberals always trying to make life harder for me

I mean, turnout rates won't take long to become public knowledge. Young people and minorities have to vote. This race is winnable. Alabamians, go win it.

Like, if Democrats make gains in the next two years and then take back the presidency in 2020, they should absolutely pass a Bill Clinton like tax hike on the wealthy in the name of something that's popular like health care.

They just wrote the whole legislative playbook on how to get this done!
If they can ram through a corporate tax cut financed by middle class tax hikes like this, imagine what the democrats can do with a proposal that polls better than 30%

President Trump over the summer repeatedly urged senior Senate Republicans, including the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, to end the panel’s investigation into Russia’s interference in the 2016 election, according to a half dozen lawmakers and aides. Mr. Trump’s requests were a highly unusual intervention from a president into a legislative inquiry involving his family and close aides.Fucking cowards still defending him. Hope this will help Mueller.

I think the tax thing will go through. There's a lot of meaningless language and triggers they can put in to shield deficit hawks from blame.
