By Fenderputty Go To PostIs there another term you would like to use to describe the same thing? Are you denying it exists? I have no clue what you're on about, honestly.
You missed the post, but the original was a question: "Is anyone bothered by the usage of "MSM?"
I said it wasn't a problem two me because I thought it was appropriate, citing instances of when MSM contributes to The Narrative of false news by failing to correctly portray the Kaepernick protest as one against police violence, not against the military. And so on.
I then offered terms that did annoy me: dogwhistling and virtue signaling.
By Fenderputty Go To PostTrump is old as dirt so it wouldn't be until the second term. I don't view either of them as ideal, but nobody else has really stepped up yet. Not that I expect that to happen until closer to 2020 though. Both Biden and Bernie poll ridiculously well against the orange turd.
Don't get me wrong, I'd be fucking ecstatic to have either of them in office in 2020. I just know the GOP (and it's voters) won't play fair when critical of age (or anything for that matter), even in 2020.
"Bernies almost 80! How do we know he doesn't have dementia? Can he even remember what he ate for breakfast? We've never had a Presidential candidate so old!"
Meanwhile Trump goes to Dr. Who-gives-a-fuck-he's-alive-ain't-he?, lives off of KFC, McD's and two scoops of ice cream a day, and can't remember what order he signed 5 minutes ago. "Well he can sign legislation, can't he? That's good enough for me!"

No I didn't miss that. This didn't really answer my question either.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostI saw that in another tweet, and then I saw this reply to it:
(I have not confirmed the latter claims.)
Doesn't mean anyone should let their guard down.
Those of you in VA: Vote. Vote vote vote vote vote.
And please, PLEASE reach out to those around you and make sure they're voting, too.
I don't remember Trump winning in Virginia polls at all and this seems to back that up.

By KingGondo Go To PostAmerica is a diseased society.Well that’s that. I assumed it was just some dumb internet meme to like Bush but this just confirms it, I’m done hoping for better
By ClownsAreATen Go To PostDemocrats were a mistake. We're nothing but trash.Empathy is usually a requirement to bring liked as a human being. So the comparison to the current admin really just requires the bare minimum.
By FreezePeach Go To PostYou need republicans to ask too, Trump will just ignore Dems.
You would think they might care since it was damn near unanimous.
By PanickyFool Go To PostEmpathy is usually a requirement to bring liked as a human being. So the comparison to the current admin really just requires the bare minimum.can we have some empathy for the mountains of corpses the Bush administration is responsible for instead.
I'm having problems seeing how this news with Clinton is sticking and trying to understand why it's even getting traction.
Like it barely registers a blip to me of course but how do you even get the crooked Hilary crowd to give a damn when legislation is constantly viewed negative, Fox has Trump approvals down, and Republicans are giving limp picked fuck yous to their main guy.
I feel like this is either some under the table hit peice to push away the damning actions of the admin as of late or a okey dokey to lure the narritive before a real hammer drops.

Fox News is Fox News and other outlets are easily fooled.

Trump will support it one day hate it the next.
Also ... glad to see not everyone has peaced out!
By ClownsAreATen Go To Postcan we have some empathy for the mountains of corpses the Bush administration is responsible for instead. Not claiming he was a good president, or did not cause a massive amount of death. I will always have a soft spot for him for his at ground zero speech. If he had proved a good president would be in the tier of great speeches below the Gettysburg Address, next to FDR. Also showed he had a heart with his attempts in Africa.
Bush's motivation to become president was probably a combination of ego (as with all presidents after Washington) and good will.
Trump's motivation to become president appears to be a combination of ego and self service.
So with a modern day comparison of being worried about nuclear holocaust it makes sense that Bush would get a ratings bump (most presidents do after they leave anyway.)

I'm not going anywhere.
You can post in two places though :)
what did we learn that is new from this Clinton story? I swear that stuff was already out in April or so

And this place held up damn well with the influx. Something Resetera ain't doing so well so far.
I won't give any guarantees that I'll be at slaent all the time, but so far I really like it.

I ranted about this over at GAF.
My "approval" of GWB has everything to do with knowing we can survive him.
Something we'll only know about Trump in hindsight.

Cutting him loose is my guess.
By Fenderputty Go To PostWhy would they confirm this?Congress probably already has the letter that guy sent to Assange. No point in him denying he received the email.
Hopefully they can do something about healthcare that doesnt force me to have almost 200% price increase next year since im on obamacare. Hope there is still time.

Hell, I'm not even on Obamacare and I'm getting a 50% increase. But no, they're gonna do nothing.

I know my health insurance is going up at work too is this because of trump fuckery?
By FreezeSSC Go To PostI know my health insurance is going up at work too is this because of trump fuckery?I think what's happening, could be wrong, is a lot of the prices right now are estimated prices, and there is a lot of uncertainty, and with advertising for market being cut 90%, and various related programs that might have funding cut insurers are worried and raising prices. All so Trump can declare Obamacare has collapsed and is a disaster.

I'm still hoping a video recording of Trump asking Putin for help gets unearthed. Probably found in Carter Page's rectum. Dig deep. I've heard it's cavernous.

The WH will continue to make excuses and the GOP will give stern warnings but nothing will come from this. I expect sanctions to roll out eventually but because the implementation seems to be left in the hands of the WH we might see some "creativity" applied here.
