Maybe try to see if you can get a small sample of both for free/cheap and see what they look like next to all your stuff?
Also, we recently started up a "creative" thread for if you think it is artistic/creative enough. http://slaent.com/thread/1310895/

Fuck it, decided to get both, I've got a couple of future projects in mind where this stuff might come in handy.
Will check that thread, maybe post the stuff I made for the new hobby / computer room, once I'm done with it. Danke.

Looking through eBay, I'd say the prices for Sandy Bridge i5s/i7s and motherboards are selling for a pretty reasonably price. They're long in the tooth, but it'd be a substantial upgrade from you're currently using and fall within budget.
Assuming you've already got DDR3 in your current build though?

Yes lad.
I'm all for comfort and ergonomics, but that's two cables I have to deal with. Thanks, but no thanks. Seems like a quality product tho.

Any ideas on this one, brehs?
I've got a pair of Phanteks LED strips and all the connectors for them to directly plug into my motherboard. However, once they're all wired up and switched on, they make a noticeable buzzing/humming noise. I can't find any answers as to why this happens.
They're a reasonable distance away from any audio cables but are a little close to the PSU.

By Smokey Go To PostSounds like interference, possibly with something in the mobo itself.
Yeah that's about the jist of what I got from Googling, but there was nothing specific in regards to a LED strip connecting to a PC. It was all related to external LED strips with their own plugs.
Kinda found a work around for the mean time at least. Using just one of the strips and routing it as far away from everything else as possible.
Flipped my shit around too. Had the case layed out horizontal since I got it, decided to change that today. Still not happy with the cooler, thinking of swapping to a Noctua next year.

G613 in da house, lads. Now to wait 15mins for Logitech's software to download from their super fast servers.
First impression: this thing is heavy and not what I would call a looker.

I'd agree with that. No RGBs or backlight.
It serves two purposes and that's it. Wireless and mechanical keys. And it does well there.
Installing.
Btw, can you use G900's dongle with the G613 or is it one for each?
EDIT: So that's one dongle for each. G613, G900 and G933. I'm running out of USB ports here. #DatLogitechLife

lots of logitech stuff can use the "unifying reciever" I'm pretty sure none of the stuff you are using does.. I think its for latency reasons (G613 uses the "lightspeed" dongle or something)
Yeah, figured as much. The fact that both the G900 and G613 dongles are labeled should've been hint enough.
Smokey, is the Caps Lock key super sensitive on your G613 as well?
Wiggling the key, hell even just resting your finger on it is enough to activate it on my G613. It's almost like it's touch sensitive.

Yeah. Got used to it after awhile.
ill never go back to a wired mouse ever again
love the g613 kind of wish it didn't have macro buttons on the left though--that's my only complaint. Gotta get use to their presence.

Yeah we're at the point, at least Logitech is, were wireless is a legit and viable alternative to running wires. I'm running wireless headset, kb, and mouse, with no performance issues or interference.
Aye, the Logitech wireless headset I got last month has been superb. Could quite happily go for a wireless mouse to match it if they weren’t so Damon expensive.
What’s the deal with that Titan V though? Purely targeted towards deep learning?
Only a 10% performance gain over a 1080Ti?

It's "Tensor" units will greatly help deep learning, but it's 1/2 rate on FP64 will greatly help a lot of more advanced workstation GPU accelerated applications. It's still about $6k cheaper than a Tesla V100 and can be used for on screen graphic functions to boot, so it could actually be a good deal for some people.
Where did you see the 10% over a 1080ti? It's going to be a beast on games but for $3000 , the only people who will buy it for games are people who want to wag their dicks (and Nvidia will make a boatload off them).

I can't remember, I saw it mentioned at a glance on another website earlier today. First thought was "the fuck is the point of that then?".
Genuinely hope it's a huge leap over the 1080Ti/Titan XP.
Please tell me I can disable the G keys on my G613. Clear them of ANY commands, even the default F1-6 ones. Please.

just checked...there's an unassign option
By Smokey Go To Postjust checked…there's an unassign optionYeah, I figured it out eventually. For some reason the unassign function wasn't working on custom profiles. I switched to the default one, cleared the G keys, voila. Switched back to a custom profile (PUBG), unassigned the G keys, voila. A bug of some sort, evidently. *shrug*
The sensitivity of the Caps Lock key still annoys the hell out of me.
Keep getting power surge warnings when I boot up my pc. Faulty power supply? After the warnings it boots fine, doesn't crash at all.
By Lupercal Go To PostKeep getting power surge warnings when I boot up my pc. Faulty power supply? After the warnings it boots fine, doesn't crash at all.Is it an Asus motherboard? I know people have been having problems with Asus' anti-surge. Apparently it can be overly sensitive.
However, if said protection keeps getting triggered, there's probably something wrong with the power supply, yeah. How old is the PSU?
