I'm a big fan of Sennheiser's and Audio-Technicas. I'd also subscribe to Mass Drop and see what the community is pining for and get it at a nice group discount.
There's a pair of Mass Drop designed AKGs right now for $200 https://www.massdrop.com/buy/akg-k7xx-massdrop-first-edition-headphones
I've bought these for $100 before on sale https://www.amazon.com/Audio-Technica-ATH-M50x-Professional-Monitor-Headphones/dp/B00HVLUR86

By Adam Blade Go To PostSmokey, what do with your Ti?
Actually came today, unexpectedly. Tracking didn't update until this morning. Just installed it. Greens are way more solid than the pic, can't get it to show right on cell:
As I was doing so got a notice that EVGA got some in stock. Seeing how I was already on the site registering my card....I ordered a 2nd and went ahead and took brackets out for it on the case :x. Will be here on Thursday barring any fuckups.
Now off to Microcenter for a HB SLI bridge...
By reilo Go To PostThat looks perfect with the NZXT. What's your monitor these days?
ROG Swift PG278Q. 2560x1440, 144hz, Gsync etc. Great monitor. Only drawback is no HDMI. 2nd gens have it.
However
That may change when I go to MC.
Benchmarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrks
Straight out the box, no OC. Only raised power to 120%
1080Ti
For reference here are other results I have
1070 Strix
1060
And for shits and giggles, the Titan Black Tri-SLI setup
I have Titan X Maxwell results, but it looks like I only ran those at 4k.

AMD still quotes Cinebench scores when comparing to Intel's chips so I guess they may still be lacking in the gaming area.
If only they could have gotten higher clock speeds. a 4 core 8 thread Zen with like a 4.0Ghz base clock for $199 would have killed. Maybe next revision.
As it is those are still a good value though, especially if those 1600's can OC very well at all.

Strix 1080Ti review
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/ASUS/GTX_1080_Ti_Strix_OC/
My biggest takeaway from this is how fast a single 1080Ti is at 1440p. I really need the PG27UQ to get some kind of updated release information. I wanted to move to the PG348Q, but for that kind of money, I can be nearly there with the PG27UQ.

You know how long that would take
That piping is no joke

Knew it was a matter of time
Plenty. Are you on OSX or Windows? OSX has stuff like Moom that lets you save profiles and app preferences. It will also detect monitor changes which is great if you're on your laptop and then hook it up to a larger monitor.
Divvy is available on Windows http://mizage.com/divvy/
I've heard good things about it by people that use it. But it costs money.
There's also this but not sure if it's your usecase: http://www.nurgo-software.com/products/aquasnap
Looks like AquaSnap supports multiple-monitors with the $18 license.

By reilo Go To PostYou trying to get the pipe(s), Zabo?
By Smokey Go To PostKnew it was a matter of time
Nah, I'm good with air. I almost went with water a couple of years ago when I started following Jay on YT, but the more videos I watched about it, the less motivated I became. It's just not for me. Too much hassle for too little gain, if you're not into maximum overclocking / minimum temps. I might get a nice looking AiO, if I decide to downsize from the Define XL and get a smaller, showy case, but even that seems like a waste of money.
I've got huge respect for guys who go all out with it tho, like the owner of the case above.
Might look into water for real. Didn't know Pascal starts throttling you at 60c. You put a decent OC on the cards and you're past that in no time. I've been OCing my 1080ti for the past hour or so and I'm settling into a stable OC. Temps end up around 70 - 72, but the core clock keeps tripping further you go above 60
On water youre not coming close to 60..
I thought they started throttling at 70 apparently not

Yeah I'm gonna look into water for real. I have a basic idea, but gonna deep dive. The throttling situation on the GPUs caught my attention too.
I've absolutely loved my last two cases: Antec P180b and Silverstone FT02. Don't have any complaints for what I use them for and the time period they were released.
By reilo Go To PostDivvy is available on Windows http://mizage.com/divvy/I don't think either of those fits the description of what I was looking for. Divvy just seems like a resize tool. from the description and video I don't see any ability to set programs to open on the monitor of your choice.

Did some searching and found things like MAXto and Сhameleon Window Manager but they seem like tilers as well.
Eh, oh well.
I got a Phanteks and its fantastic
I can't lie, Phanteks look hot (I have never owned one tho.. )
I used to think a case was a case for the most part but as soon as I owned a decent case I found out how wrong I was..
A bit late but about headphones, I got the 9h steelseries, they are dope.
Great quality and fantastic surround.

Debating if I should send the second 1080Ti back and use that $700 for a true custom water cooling setup...
Throttling.
And that next step in my setup. I'm sure $750 could get more than decent WC equipment.
I'm avg 90fps+ in ME:A and 130fps+ in BF1 , 100 in Heaven....I dunno what more a second 1080Ti could do on my current 1440p monitor.

Ryzen 5 prices announced
https://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2017/03/amds-zen-goes-mainstream-with-ryzen-5-4-cores-8-threads-from-169/
There are four Ryzen 5 parts launching on April 11. At the top end is the R5 1600X: 6 cores, 12 threads, with a base of 3.6GHz and a turbo of 4.0GHz, for $249. Below that is the $219 1600. It has the same core and thread count but cuts clock speeds to 3.2/3.6GHz. At the bottom end are a pair of 4-core, 8-thread parts: the $169 1400 at 3.2/3.4GHz, and the $189 1500X at 3.5/3.7GHz.

Even higher than I expected. I was looking for $500 , but I knew they still held premium value in used market. Appreciate it.
Benchmarking the card in 3Dmark...On the standard firestrike test (1080p), my GPU utilization is literally in the 60% range on the combined CPU+GPU test.
It's not until I run the FS Extreme test that runs at 1440p that the same test shows 99% util on the Ti.
The card literally decides on its own to use half it's strength at 1080p tf
It might be less it deciding to use half it's strength as it is the CPU being unable to feed it the information it needs quickly enough.
