Corsair K70 wrist rest. I'd need a laser to measure the thickness of the rubber coating, but it has to be in the 0,00001mm range. Fuck this shit.
Is it an attachment to the keyboard or something that just goes on top? You might want to look at some replaceable pads or something that can stick to it.
I have a completely different kind of keyboard, but it uses these things: https://www.kinesis-ergo.com/shop/advantage-palm-pads-black/ My last pair lasted about two years before needing to be replaced.

It's an attachment, yeah. A new one costs 10$. It's fine rubber, so I don't expect it to last forever, but I've only had the keyboard for 3-4 months, ffs.
No excuse for making the coating so goddamn thin, other than misguided cost saving.

Making some changes....
The H110i is going back and I ordered the NZXT Kraken 62 to replace it
The H110i pump still ended up making some noticeable noise, although it was quieter than my old H100i. Decided to give someone else a try for cooling.
I also ordered 5x Corsair ML 140 PROs

I've wanted these fans for awhile.
2X Front
2X x62 rad
1x Rear
These are 140mm. The two in the front of my case will be replacing the 3 120mm fans that I currently have and have been using for the past 2+ yrs, and I'll be replacing the stock air 540 rear fan as well.

you're making me want to do a complete rebuild
even though everything is running well, it's coming time to pretty much do one since I'll need a new CPU, motherboard, and graphix card, probably new memory as well...from there might as well get a new case!
probably going to wait a while though
One thing you should do is reapply some thermal paste to your CPU cooler. When I took off my H100i there was hardly any remaining. Reapplying some paste brought some immediate and noticeable differences in temps.
I really can't say enough about the Air 540. Best and most versatile case I've owned. The Silverstone FT02 was great with the 90 degree rotated layout, but they never released a successor, and it was limited to 2 way SLI on air.
540 has taken everything I've thrown at it with no problems and no modifications needed. Can be used for a full blown custom water cooling setup too. Great case. It's too bad Corsair ruined its successor, the air 740, by making it as ugly as possible.

I also have the FT02 and I love it. I never use multi-GPU, though. It is also fucking huge, so be aware of that. Quiet, cool, and easy to work on. I tend to hold on to cases for a long while, so it will probably last me the next 5-8 years.
Smokey, you didn't like the FT05 or other revisions? At a glance, it looks like they dropped the slots for the optical drives in order to make the case shorter.
By Kibner Go To PostSmokey, you didn't like the FT05 or other revisions? At a glance, it looks like they dropped the slots for the optical drives in order to make the case shorter.
Nah. I literally wanted a follow up to the FT02 but with some modern improvements. It was the first case I built in, but as I started getting other cases, it became apparent it was a bit outdated. The build quality is fantastic though. In the end I had to move on because it only worked well with blower style GPUs. The case wasn't all that compatible with the heat pipes on GPUs when they were in that 90 degree position.
so you're atx exclusive these days smokey?
Not necessarily. I do want to do a smaller build but at the same time I like having a lot of options on my case. I'll never do 3+ GPUs again, and Nvidia is phasing out support for it anyway, but there's a real chance I go back to 2way SLI. Theres quite a few mATX boards that support it, but I wouldn't make the switch until I'm completely done with the X79 platform.
I've also become use to the luxuries that a top end board like the Rampage IV Black Edition I'm using offers. The built in SLI switches have saved a ton of troubleshooting headaches when trying to determine if a card has a problem for instance. I don't know how "high end" boards get in the mATX or smaller series of motherboards.
Split style gaming keyboard by Kinesis. I really like this keyboard company from an ergonomic standpoint. If my desk wasn't the way it was, I'd hop on this keyboard real quick.
NKRO, no ghosting, 1000hz polling, 4MB of onboard memory for programming, 8 macro buttons, choice of red, brown, or blue Cherry MX switches, blue LEDs. It also supports on-board programming that doesn't require any software to be installed.
Programmability includes the standard macros (up to 150 actions per second) and key remapping. It also supports up to 10 game-specific layouts and as many other custom layouts as can fit in the 4MB of memory (they just won't be game detected, I think?).

Seriously, being able to freely split up the keyboard and adjust the height angle it sits at is amazing for long sessions of use.
I tried using a split keyboard at work for some time. Just couldn't get used to it. I do love my sit stand desk tho.
What's making this search for speakers annoying is that it's manufacturers don't mention if they have the auto-standby shit that is annoying me on my Z333's.
Anybody using a Logitech G KB? This KB looks great. Only concern is those Romer G switches, but I love how the RGB looks on these vs Cherry MX switches.

I got the chance to try out all the different Zowie mouses at last year's QuakeCon and that is the one that fit me best. Small enough for me to palm, pick up, and recenter easily while large enough that I don't get cramps after extended usage.
