By kjack Go To PostHow much can Utah pay Hayward?Max.
The question is if he wants to stay.
He's going to stay.
We'll be in the same situation as when he was free agent last time, not being sure if he is worth the max. Only this time we can't match.
I'm legit shocked to hear that he's not worth the max to you. Hell, even I will concede that he's worth the max this time around.

*shrug*
Is it? The cap is gonna explode once again two seasons from now. It'll be like 120 - 125mil soon enough.

For Favors? .... Yeah.
If Favors doesnt return to his former self than it makes it easier. But money will be needed to keep Hill and Hood.
Hayward will probably sign a huge two year deal and try to make an All-NBA team to qualify for a super super Max.
Hayward has to be the least creative (in that he does the same dunk two handed dunk every time) high volume dunker, lol.
He really does dunk a lot and it's always the same dunk.

Gobert just got 4 years, 100M which is like 20% of the cap for a star player which is pretty great.
We're not going to be able to keep Exum, but, uhh, yeah...
Hopefully we'll be able to keep Hood and Favors and Favors stops looking 35 years old.
I could see Hood getting wildly overpaid though. He's just an okay starter, but okay starters who are young get automatic maxes sometimes.

DY, I'm not sure I can agree with you on Aaron Gordon. That guy is invisible in 32mpg on a team that lacks dynamic talent. I'm not sure what his go-to skill is besides being hyper-athletic.
Eh, Gordon is showing a lot of promise this season to be a hell of lot more dynamic than Wiggins.
Also, he kills the clippers for some reason.

His offense is wildly inconsistent, but that team has a broken man for a point guard.
Invisible in the sense that I don't know what his "go-to" skill is: is it shooting? is it defense? blocking shots? is it driving to the basket? drawing freethrows? rebounding? posting up? He's not particularly good at any of that. Maybe I just haven't seen the best of him yet.

He's not particularly good at any of that. Maybe I just haven't seen the best of him yet.His go to skill is defense and rebounding - that's why he was drafted. And if Orlando had any semblance of offense and spacing, you'd just pass the ball in a circle then run a dive play for him after defenses switch.
I mean, Orlando is a clusterfuck. Gordon being slept on, misused, and screwed over is one of the many reasons why. If you ever wanted to see Josh Smith in a trash situation, look no further. That being said, he's the polar opposite of Wiggins. Wiggins doesn't do shit put the ball in the hoop, Gordon does everything but.
Wait this conversation about Aaron Gordon occurred while Portland was losing to Orlando at home an-
