By Doomsayer Go To PostAlso Embiid is running away with RoTY.
Easy to forget he's still a technical Rookie.
Then yeah, he's easily RoTY.
By DY_nasty Go To PostBrogdon is damned good.Sample Sizes are a little small, but the base stats read well. For a team desperate for spacing... getting a .400 3pt shooter is massive.

He doesn't look like a rookie, those 2 years riding the pine must have really helped him.
Brogdon came out of nowhere, I like what he brings to the Bucks, nice pick in the 2nd round.
By Doomsayer Go To PostIngram has put together back to back solid games, hopefully he continues to improve because he hasn't looked all that great this year.
He's kinda weird in that he plays better D than most of the people on our team and he's 19. His length just bothers people he guards and he's ok on help too. He's also got a good eye for the game. The passes he makes are really solid and since he's been leading the charge more he's been put into a position where he occasionally creates and he's been doing well. He's been driving a lot more aggressively lately and he's been posting fools up that have no business guarding someone as long as he is as well. It's good to see some of this because he looked SOOOO timid at the start of the year.
That being said, his shot has not extended to pro length at all and chucking 3's was supposed to be a quality he could bring from the get go. He's been better of late, but he's been struggling all year at distance. He needs to extend that shot to be a really solid player. He also needs to add about 30-40 pounds of muscle if his DNA will allow it. He's been getting to the rack recently and finishing regardless of his size, but man will his game get so much easier for him if he can beef up.
He's been getting handled with kiddy gloves for the most part too. D'Angelo didn't, and still hasn't got that same treatment. His body was more NBA ready when joining the league, but he's was just as young and had a lot more pressure put on him than Ingram has at the same stage in their careers.

People say this all the time pre-draft. But shooters aren't ready for how quick NBA close outs happen. And how little space/time you get to shoot. It really does take them quite some time to adjust and re-find their spots/rhythm.

Amazing that a four year college player can contribute.
McCaw is pretty good too, and will be even better once his offense catches up to his defense

I think he's got more upside than both Randle and Russel if he can put it together. His inability to extend that shot and his timid approach to the game (I'm assuming because of his size) really has impacted his first half of the season. Hopefully these last couple of games give the kid some confidence and he can kinda come into his own.

Seems that way.

Maybe Dwight threatened to not move if they tank the whole season.

And O'Quinn got ejected for a hard foul on Davis. Pels announcers think it should have only been a flagrant one.
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostKnicks are done. This season is over and going downhill.I am shocked at a super team falling apart like this.

Either its a family emergency, He's mad at them for putting him on the trade bloc/benching him, he's injured, or he has already has been traded......
Either way.... Its weird
By diehard Go To PostCongrats Knick fans. you don't have him signed long term!
I said that before!!!
but really I could see him "demanding a trade" to go somewhere where he can try to earn a max contract.
By diehard Go To PostCongrats Knick fans. you don't have him signed long term!
It would be very Knicks to trade away a $20m expiring contract for some middling players on long deals
