Only 9 games behind Utah now. We're coming for you guys.
By DY_nasty Go To Postits 59 degrees2016 never hurt me like this 😰😰😰😰
i thought 2017 was supposed to be better…
By Zeus Ex Machina Go To PostIt's 17 degrees in NYC……Post-Rondo Teammate boost.
Also what is with MCW? He still sucks are has that "potential" kick in?
Its kinda like when Boston was playing with literally no point guard and saw their offense improve significantly.
By p s y Go To Post
ouch.
By DY_nasty Go To PostDid anyone here want him? Like….
damn
I remember vehemently arguing against him as the 7/8/9th overall pick for the wiz before we jumped to 3.
Bucks won the lottery managing to come out of that draft with Giannas.

Look, if LFK can project 61-wins, I can latch onto Portland not being godawful defensively the past few weeks.

Not even a borderline All-Star until you get to #15. Or arguably #10 with McCollum. Steven Adams is pretty decent. So the best three players went #10, #12, and #15, and they're the only ones who are even above-average starters.
MCW showed promise his first year and then got worse almost every year after that.
CJ and Giannis are the best (and really good) of a bad bunch, with Nerlens, Adams and Mason being the only starter-quality players of the rest.
By reilo Go To PostCJ and Giannis are the best (and really good) of a bad bunch, with Nerlens, Adams and Mason being the only starter-quality players of the rest. With Gobert being garbage-tier.
By knux-future Go To Postwhodafuk?Randle was on our summer league and preseason squad and he probably would have made the Knicks roster over Baker if he didn't brake a face bone right before the season. He was lighting up the D league in his short stint there. He is a great shooter/scorer but he's little (height and muscle), can't defend and can't run an offense.
By diehard Go To PostWith Gobert being garbage-tier.Oh, I didn't realize he was that draft. Totally missed on him, but he belongs in the good group.
Cody is wild underrated. Dude's got the next best +/- on/off on the team behind Kemba and Batum.
But that's the story of these Clifford Horncats - all these intangibles and only one dude who can generally put the ball in the fucking hoop. Do all the little things. Too pretty to get buckets.

Damn thats a big deal. Nike is really exclusive.

Otto Porter is definitely starter tier.
gianias being good was a total crapshoot he was like 160 pounds and playing division 2 ball in greece
oh we got houston tonight with batum and cody out
bev is just gonna kick kemba in the nuts and we'll be down 40 before the half

The PG1's are nice. The strip across the front ruins the lines. but otherwise, nice shoe. Though they look like normal ankle shoes. Not high tops?
I think the whole draft was a crap shoot. I remember not even caring enough (despite having the 4th pick) to look at the players. There are always going to be some good players in a draft. Just by sheer weight of numbers. But no one there who was franchise altering.

By knux-future Go To Postthis past draft is looking pretty bad so far, no?I'm trying to think who the most productive guy has been so far. Siakam? Brogdon? It's awful.
Hopefully Simmons can play this year and it won't be a total bust.

Hopefully Simmons can play this year and it won't be a total bust.
TBF most of the guys are super young (Ingram, Bender and Chriss for example)..and its early but when the so called "ready right away" guys are struggling...thats bad.
By knux-future Go To Postthis past draft is looking pretty bad so far, no?I think a lot of the guys taken at the top were SUPER young.
Simmons is 20, Ingram 19, Bender 19. Those guys are going to take a while.
But the guys who are playing are getting better.
There have been no Rookies with super hot starts though. No clear front runners for RoTY.

F – Luke Babbitt
F – Michael Beasley
C – Andre Drummond
Western Conference:
G – Mike Conley
G – Tony Allen
F – James Ennis
F – Zach Randolph
C – Marc Gasol.
I hope Mo makes it

It's looking not so hot as of right now, so some of the rooks have been playing better as of late.
Heild is developing nice and his shooting is much more consistent now. Jamal Murray is pretty solid, too. I've got high hopes for Simmons as well, I think he'll be a nice piece of Philly.
Ingram has put together back to back solid games, hopefully he continues to improve because he hasn't looked all that great this year. Bender will most likely develop as well.

Also Embiid is running away with RoTY.
