The worst part about this is it's the best pass he threw all night. Would be in perfect catch and shoot height.
Ty Lawson resurrecting his career.
Cousins has been awful tonight. Team's defense just putrid and nobody can throw a post entry pass. Miami just fronting the hell out of Boogie.

Does anyone know of any timetables for returns with other players with concussions? Hill is out again tomorrow and its his 3rd game. You would think he would want to actually play, it being a contract year and all.

finals losses to anyone but lebron will do that. plus he isn't lightning up the league night in and night out like last year.
By DY_nasty Go To PostIf I'm Portland, I lowkey listen to offers for Damian right now…only a few teams need PGs... Det, NY, maybe the Bucks.. come to mind..

Nah...how? That's a once in a generation player for them. Their failures are on the back of that defence - and a front office that does things like trade away their last three years' worth of first rounders and blow the bank on Evan Turner. Losing Lillard for lesser players right after Aldridge walked would be like dropping a bomb on that franchise right now imo.

I think there are like 25 teams in the league who'd be happy to kick their guy to the curb if it was Lillard coming back. That said, do I want to see him play with Giannis? Yes I do.
By blackace Go To Postonly a few teams need PGs… Det, NY, maybe the Bucks.. come to mind..any team that doesn't have a PG better than Kemba/IT needs him - and unlike a lot of the stars to change hands, he wouldn't be on the back end of a deal so he'd fetch real value. I'm not saying trade him for Nerlens, but if a team like Minnesota, PHX, or LA offers one of their young guys plus their pick... I think you at least stay on the line.
I'm starting to thing that CJ may be better as well.

Its not too late for them, but in a year and half it definitely will be.

I think you gotta let that marinate if you're Portland.

I think it would be a lot like when Toronto lost Vince Carter. You go from a team with playoff hopes and a superstar everybody loves, to watching that guy thrive somewhere else while your whole city just fell off the map. It sucks.

Portland's gonna have to wager everything on free agency and Mo Harkless at this rate. CJ being better than Damian in a few years isn't really a stretch imo - but that backcourt competing against anyone significant? I'd be passing my business card around just to make sure people have it when the trade deadline rolls around. Some desperate ass team would deal the house for Damian.
And if Damian never got any better than he is now, who'd actually be surprised? That Vince comparison ain't too far off.

There are a lot of teams in need of a PG that can shoot.

But... Nah. The rest are tradable though.

Rubio and Wiggins for Lillard and Crabble.
But really, that's the only team that can give up the "media headline" player that would match lillard. The rest aren't close to competing, so wouldn't give up super young guys to get him. Suns would give up Bledsoe, Knight, and chandler. But not booker. Lakers would probably give up everyone not Russell too.
By DY_nasty Go To PostThat's only because Bargnani and Ed Davis never turned into Dirk and KG.
Well hey, they had Bosh and Charlie Villanueva at the time and it still sucked.

Personally, if it were me I'd listen to offers for Evan Turner. Because the silence would be peaceful and I could meditate to it.
By DY_nasty Go To PostRubio, Wiggins, and a pick switch for Damian + Fillerof course it is. Too much in favor of the Wolves.
Its not even insane.
I'm okay with that. I want to save Wiggins from Coach Knee-murderer, for Team Canada's sake. Terry Stotts seems like a nice man who lets his players take it easy for half the game.

By DY_nasty Go To PostIf I'm Portland, I lowkey listen to offers for Damian right now…Because they're losing games while he's out? Unless you forgot that Portland was one of the 9 teams to beat (actually blow out by 20+) the Warriors last year off of Damian's 52?
And it's not like CJ's been devoid of 30+ games this season playing next to him.
Plus their recent improved D goes back to exactly to what I've been saying: Aminu is the backbone that defense and he came back healthy when Lillard went down.
