That is an upgrade from last week when the storyline in the media initially was "most teams are Do Not Want". Celtics also have a lot of assets.... they don't even have to go deep or scrap their teams core. It just works but like I said before (and excuse my language...) Ainge loves to trade rape to the point he could be a QB for the steelers..... Phil's gonna have to work to get a fair package from him.
The Celtics are really good and have an incredible shot to win the lottery in a loaded draft. They don't need Melo. They're dealing from a real position of strength.

But most teams competing wouldn't mind him. They're just not giving up cores to get him.
The top prospects in this draft are mostly PGs and you have IT. (And Bradley who is a combo.) IT doesn't take competition for his spot as anything but an insult.

Except for Ainge's draft record
I've been in a deep depression over the state of this country y'all.

lol right? Chuck forcing trades while he was playing would have been the angle.. but LeBron too in his feels and had to get all stupid with it..
"I have never been in trouble! So there!"

My problem with Lebron is they should not be losing to the teams they are losing to and this feels like some people on that team are half-assing it, including Lebron.
You can argue that you need more to defeat the Warriors, but you don't need more to beat the Kings or Mavs.

By pilonv1 Go To PostSanders has met with the Celtics, yikesSanders has been bad enough in tryout practices that the Mavs have said they aren't interested.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostMan, if Powell could finish better…Same but Solomon Hill. And Buddy (also if he could play defense).
Pels announcers are consistently baffled anytime someone bites on the slow-ass Terrence Jones pump-fake.

They let Orlando and New Orleans get anywhere they want on the court.
I don't know if they're all the way shook, but they're definitely jiggled a little bit.

Last time they won they went all in on what in hind sight was a 2 year finals window and Ainge has had his job since so yeah I could see him saying fuck it.
Also that new CBA makes getting Hayward tough..... 200 mil is hard to say no too..... and Jazz aren't great drafters either.

All good to great players.. They wiffed on Exum but what makes you say they aren't great drafters?

The thing i dont get about Boston signing Hayward is that besides the money The Jazz are better the Celtics. I'd rather play with Gobert over everyone in Boston.
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/report-derek-fisher-robbed-of-five-nba-championship-rings-earned-with-the-lakers-163035944.html
Derek Fisher’s hoped-for chance at a little NBA normalcy appears to have gone out the window. The former Los Angeles Lakers championship guard and former New York Knicks head coach was allegedly the victim of a robbery on Monday morning, with burglars reportedly relieving him of the five championship rings he earned in Los Angeles.
Law enforcement sources tell us the NBA legend reported a burglary at his home Monday morning — telling police he left the home at 7:30 AM and when he returned 3 hours later, it was clear someone had been inside.
We’re told officials believe the perp got into the house through a side door — and went for his jewelry. Among the stolen goods was Fisher’s 5 NBA rings he won during his run with the Lakers. They’re each worth a ton of cash.
I hope Hornacek commits to Hernangomez now. 32+ minutes, has 15/14 currently. Dude shouls be locked into 17-22 a night.
HOLY SHIT AT THAT FOUL
Are you kidding me? Lowry's fingertips tossed AD out of bounds? How can you have a functioning adult brain and think that's what happened?

I can't even get over this. The man is twice his size and jumping out of bounds, Lowry's hand brushes against the side of his leg, and that's a push?
In what physics system? Is this Gary's Mod?

Hah! Raps didn't lose in regular time. Take that, Vegas!
Fuck, Toronto has to play Boston tomorrow night, too.

I hate to be the guy that blames the refs, but I kind of think you're right. I'm seeing some messed up stuff lately.
