By reilo Go To PostWade took a steep paycut to allow Lebron and Bosh to come through in his earning prime. He earned that super max when time came, and Riley decided he wasn't worth it after everything he's done for the franchise. Players and agents don't forget that kind of shit.
He did not take a "steep paycut". You don't know what you're talking about Reilo. If he didn't want to win and get paid, then it would've been simple. He, LBJ, & Bosh set it up themselves, They knew they all couldn't get 100% of the max, they even forced Riley to trade away so many picks so that they could get the 5th year options in their deals.
In summer 2014, Bron opted out, as did wade and bosh under the assumption that LBJ would stay. Bron forcing Wade to opt out cost Wade a significant amount of money though, especially after Bosh's agent(same agent as wade's btw) said it was max or nothing(even though later admitting that he would have stayed for less) and using Houston's offer for leverage.
After taxes, Wade's Chicago deal works out to be the same deal that Riley offered him, he wanted some super max retirement special that no team in the league offered, Riley and Arison didn't budge.
By DY_nasty Go To PostWade not getting the Kobe treatment isn't getting screwed lolKobe never took a paycut. Wade left tens of millions on the table to make those Lebron years work. The difference between his payday in Chicago and Miami is $8mil over two years. That's it. He wasn't getting $30mil/yr like Kobe -- half that, actually, in 2014-15.

LBJ, Bosh and Wade all decided that they wanted to play with each other because they wanted to win too. The fuck?

Yeah, wade hasn't been the biggest earner but he knowingly and happily took those smaller checks to win. If he wanted to make cashing out a priority he could've done that. No one made him stop.
Don't tell me he was asking/getting Kobe's deal:
Kobe earned $50mil more over the same time period when Wade was clearly the better player. Paying Wade out an extra $8mil over 2 years doesn't really hit Miami that hard like it hit the Lakers.

Take a hit now while productive and you can win chips. Get PAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIID while the team is tanking and rebuilding.
Came the second part and Riley balked. Then hung him out to dry for it.
Yeah, it's wades "fault" for not taking the most available every contract. But there were also so many "Miami is a family, looks after i'ts guys no matter what, MAFIA FAM" type of hullabaloo that is now completely debunked and visibly BS.
2010: "I never got high before games."
2017: "… Yeah, I remember getting high before games."
Well considering he retried in 2015.. I understand why he wouldn't disclose the entire truth..
By blackace Go To PostWell considering he retried in 2015.. I understand why he wouldn't disclose the entire truth..I know, it's just funny to me. Although, I wonder if NBA is now gonna be like ".. wait a minute this is a PR nightmare we need to change our drug testing rules?" Beasley and Klay are gonna be so pissed.

Nah. It won't happen. The players union has blocked several attempts to make them tougher.
By diehard Go To Post42 points in a quarter, did you think you would see the day Knux?Without Embiid.
Kings are dogshit
By unknown Go To Postdam no good games tonight. Not true, lots of games with tank implications.

By diehard Go To Post42 points in a quarter, did you think you would see the day Knux?Never. Feels weird
By unknown Go To Postetio shouldn't you want to tank? They can't. We can swap with them if the pick is lower... their pick goes to Chicago if it's not top ten. Playoffs or bust for the Kings really
By p s y Go To PostWait, DMC had 46 points ON 16 SHOTS?!
I think his TS% for the game was like 89%. 16 shots. 4-6 from three. Lots of free throws.
By blackace Go To PostSo DMC is basically playing PF now..I mean. that's the positiong he wanted to play out of college.
Cuz still plays most of the time at center, including the crunch. He's basically getting the Duncan treatment. Start another big beside him, mark him PF and then play center after the first sub.
By unknown Go To Postpilons boy stylin on the cavs, wants payback i guess.
Seth? Barnes was never my boy
whodafuk is Yogi Ferrell? Duane's son? (Blackace probably the only one who remembers him)
By p s y Go To PostJesus, dogshit on defense but man IT2 can score.Best 60th pick of all-time ;_;

By pilonv1 Go To PostLeBron is tanking so he'll get his wayBetter at getting to the rim and a better passer.
