By Zhang Jindong Go To PostYou don't know what? That Enrique's Barca is not as good as Pep's Barca? That his team would've embarrassed both Rijkaard's and Enrique's on the pitch. We'll never know because it's impossible to know and apparently FF isn't much for hypotheticals.
But you do.
If you'd followed the conversation you would at least realize why I worded it like that. Try to pay more attention next time.

That wasn't really the argument...
imo none of them are as good as Di Matteo.
By jts Go To Postinky vs ff:P thanks m8 but it's why you don't see me discuss barca or pep seriously too often here, mostly a lost cause of people talking about subjects they arent clued in on - as shown every time Pep is talked about in here. Or when people talk about Serie A in here. Or anything non-epl.
gqman vs ff
leave ff alone. he’s mn.

Enrique's Barcelona share the ball with the opponent. Are in a hurry to get to the last third. Are consistently trying to counter aggressively. Break the team apart to attack and defend. I don't know what people would consider embarrassing, but I can't see this Barcelona team getting more than 2 or 3 wins out of 10 against Pep's Barcelona team, all things being equal.
Or maybe I don't know shit about football, which is fairly likely.

Go back and read the last page please. From the top.
You are discussing this too seriously, while I was just having a back and forth with a grade A troll that doesn't break character.
Or better yet, let's just move on. If you really want to know, I don't actually think Enrique is a better manager than Pep or current Barcelona is better than a Barcelona that had Puyol and Xavi among others, even if it had not been managed by Pep, who is one of the best managers in history. And a fraud.

Peter Hopkirk's "The Great Game"
Redmond O'Hanlon's "Trawler"
Patrick Leigh Fermor's "A Time of Gifts"
Huh. Pep vs Enrique arguments aside, I really think 2014/2015 Barca can beat 2007/2008 Barca. MSN was incredible that year. Messi was nigh unstoppable.
By cashman Go To PostGot about 30 bucks in Barnes and Noble gift cards, so I'm looking for suggestions on any books to read. Not looking for anything really specific, just books that you guys really enjoyed reading!Anything by Etgar Keret. Missing Kissinger, The Nimrod Flipout and The Girl on the Fridge are a good place to start (these are short story collections). I love his humor and style. He's one of my favorite writers.
Ray Loriga: Tokyo Doesn't Love Us Anymore. 'Tis Sci-Fi dystopian in the vein of Phillip K. Dick. I liked it but I prefer some of his other books more, which sadly I think are all in Spanish.
Michel Houellebecq: The Elementary Particles (also known as Atomised in the UK according to google). And The Possibilty of an Island are the two I've read and enjoyed a lot as well.
Why are people calling FF a troll?
I seriously doubt some of you actually watch football.

Ctrl + F. No mention of Morata in the traditional Scum transfer post. How can they not include the biggest story of the day.
"Morata wants Juve - Real Madrid striker has expressed the idea of leaving Real Madrid and returning to Juventus."

08/09 however..
Valdes > Bravo
Alves > Alves
Puyol > Mascherano
Pique = Pique
Abidal = Alba
Busquets < Busquets
Xavi > Rakitic
Iniesta > Iniesta
Messi < Messi
Eto'o < Suarez
Henry < Neymar
Pep > Enrique
That's just individual comparison, as a team though, 09 team dominated from start to finish. Better goalkeeper, defense, midfield and coach, plus a more dominant play style. Enriques team has the front 3 going for it but they'd never get the ball to score any goals.
In 100 games I'd say peps barca against enriques would win 67. Draw 14. Lose 19.*
*statistics from research in my brain
08/09 Barca is still my favourite Barca team of the last decade. Just flawless football. In fact that 5-0 win against Madrid in 2010 may be the best result of Pep's career. Total and utter domination from start to finish.
Argentina sucks. Messi is a large part of that shit team.
You'd think from the way this place talks about Messi, he could grab 10 kids from the barrio and boom, there's a World Cup.
It doesn't work that way. Pep isn't as bad as you guys say. Conte could be this year's Ranieri. Pep does need more time and he needs to get rid of the rats.

Other than some jokes no one here thinks Pep is bad, he's great.
Almost everyone agrees that he needs more time to get used to Premier League style of play. Even he acknowledges that fact, and commented on his struggles against teams playing to win second balls.
Flutter, just see tons of Pep is a fraud posts. Are you saying just half of them are in jest?

We are shitting on Pep just like people shat on Mou during United's poor form early on. If Chelsea lose a game or two watch as people take glee in that, although that's mostly due to backlash to Perfect Blue's posts in the past couple of weeks than Conte.

What???
Conte is recognised as one of the elite coaches in football. Ranieri was a journeyman who found a bit of cup success on a few stops.
