Hell, wont be surprised if disgruntled govt officials start leaking shit a year after he starts office. It will be hard to impeach him but it could happen.

By n8 dogg Go To PostSo what is the alternative to not dropping bombs then? Send in troops to do the work instead? Doesn't that cause its own issues? Don't fight the battle at all?
I'm not saying he shouldn't be held to account, but the situation's clearly a lot more nuanced than drop bomb/don't drop bomb, and Obama's a hero or villain whichever he does.
Honestly I don’t mean this in a patronizing way but do you actually know what the policy re: drones is and what the effects have been?
Since today is inauguration day let’s go back to Obama’s inauguration. Obama spent a lot of his campaign attacking G W Bush for policies re: torture and drone strikes. On the second day of his Presidency he put through an order to outlaw torture by US troops. On the third day he authorized a drone strike in Pakistan to take out a terrorist activist. Reports following the strike indicate that the terrorist was killed, as well as 10 civilians which included 5 children.
If the choice I am facing is to use a drone to kill 1 suspected militant and 10 civilians, or to send it troops, or to do nothing – yes, I am picking one of those last two options. When you multiply this over a Presidency which has presided over hundreds of drone strikes that have killed hundreds if not thousands of civilians…I think, at least in this respect, the man has a lot to answer for and I don’t care how much humanity, sensibility or humility he has when he’s giving speeches…this kind of shit is not okay. It’s a disgrace. And he is directly responsible for it. That blood is on his hands.
Surely part of Obama's reticence to hit Assad over that red line speaks to a leader who - yes is weak and indecisive in parts - would rather not have the conflict. If Obama was in charge for 9/11, would the response have been as rash and ill-thought out as Bush's was? Of course he was laboured with that. I don't think that's a Trump supporter-esque thing to say. It's the same reason why our own military involvement since Blair can't be pinned on Brown or Cameron - because they were trying to mitigate what came before.
First of all I call bullshit on his reticence to avoid conflict…because as my previous posts highlighted his Presidency has been more military active and blood thirsty than the last.
But okay, if he would rather not have the conflict than he should have done or said nothing at all. He failed here because he gave it the big man ting, I’m warning you, don’t fuck about with me. And then did nothing to back it up. This is politically weak. Of course it is a very complex situation, I am not dismissing that. I am saying it’s poor leadership and isn’t sensible or measured. It’s confused and misleading. And it has led to further destabilisation of the region. Not all his fault, by any means. But he assumed the responsibility and then fucked up.
As for your Cameron point, I initially cited the argument to point out Obama's humanity, sensibility and humility, as well as class and clear deference to democracy. Cameron didn't have many of these things; the most responsible thing he ever did was step down after the colossal fuck up of last summer.
I think Trump is a tyrannical monster, like the rest of us. But I'd like to think that if unemployment keeps falling he gets the praise for that, as Cameron and Obama should (and Obama - and Trump - have far harder jobs than Cameron did, in my opinion, with self-governing states and such a partisan make up of government).
Obama did an awful lot wrong. But in terms of image and respectfulness for the position - which again, was the reason I posted - USA won't get much better.

2019 Cricket World Cup: London Stadium major step closer to staging matches
London Stadium is a major step closer to hosting matches at the 2019 Cricket World Cup, after it was found to have a potential playing surface big enough for one-day internationals.
It emerged last month the England and Wales Cricket Board was considering high-capacity venues at the request of the International Cricket Council.
The 60,000-seat London Stadium is much larger than any UK cricket ground.
However, a number of other feasibility issues must be addressed.
To stage cricket, the stadium's seating configuration would be similar to that used for athletics, rather than as employed by tenants West Ham United for football matches.

Also Scuminho, AOC announced their version of the 35" VA 1440p 100hz g-sync monitor. Not as fancy looking as the Omen X 35, but not too gamer-y either, since you can apparently turn the LEDs off. More importantly though, it's a good 300€ cheaper than the Omen.
What a time to be splurging 1000€+ on a monitor.
EDIT: Better pics.

This armchair political activist is actually thinking of going to the US embassy later for some good ol' rallying. It's time for me stand up and be counted for.

You'd think it would turn itself off completely when the comp is in sleep mode regardless of the settings, but it does turn off after a couple of minutes of inactivity anyway, so no big deal.
Not sure what the problem might be on your end, Ninja. Try uninstalling / reinstalling Logitech's software is the best advice I can give you atm.
I can't recall the last time I witnessed Berahino kick a ball. Didn't they turn Spurs down for nearly £25m at one point?
