I don't get spoiler culture
Even if you know the plot of something theres still a bunch of other elements in a media, it's why good films can be watched infinitely, games played, etc

By Punished Go To PostPlymouth are getting promoted though

By Xpike Go To PostI don't get spoiler cultureI want to experience the highs and lows of the story myself. You can't compare watching a movie for the first time to watching a classic for the 5th time.

What is the grace period for movies? I was told by slaent that:
Live: Immediately
TV Series : 1 Week
Movies: ???

By FlutterPuffs Go To PostThere's a reason they are in league two.
catastrophic financial mismanagement
EASY to get spoiler culture
what an incredibly stupid discussion, with all due MAXIMUM respect to all of you.
if you line up GoT's plot twists before watching it you remove the tension entirely
SURE it has nice music and Jamie is hot and they dress well but ultimately most people watch a movie to be engaged and live it moment to moment not go through the motions and wait for whatever you read to happen inevitably. Oh there goes Ned's neck and that betrayal
I still don't know how Nate managed to go through Prisoners knowing full well that the boy was innocent Because for the whole movie I was on the edge of my seat and going through a roller-coaster of emotions. One moment I was siding with Hugh :lol the other I wasn't.... FUCK IT SHOOT HIM IN THE LEG ITS YOUR BABY GIRL WE ARE RUNNING OUT OF TIME! But...what if, WHAT IF....I hope he is then...but...AAAAAH
bear in mind *I* don't mind reading spoilers, playing devil's advocate if you will.
I hope nobody brings up La La Land as an example if you wanna insult me/reply to me, just out of respect for Zabo.

By L1NETT Go To Postcatastrophic financial mismanagementAre you sure you are not thinking about Portsmouth?
By FortuneFaded Go To PostLooking forward to playing them next season.
don't worry i hear grimsby is lovely this time of year.
While some people take spoiler-culture a bit too far, Yurt is right, knowing what's going to happen kills any engagement you have watching the show/movie/game
By L1NETT Go To Postdon't worry i hear grimsby is lovely this time of year.I thought you would have more sympathy to our plight. You get a hint of playoffs and suddenly you consider yourself a potential premface.
By Mister0084 Go To Postsell ronaldo to chinaCalma calma, has yet to fully transition to full-time ST.
The next 45 minutes are crucial, we need Isco to create chances down the middle, way too many crosses which are being absorbed fairly well by this Celta team.

Never actually seen Wilson play, so I'll pretend he's on the verge of being world class already
What a player

By Hitch Go To PostBit dodgy since we scored, giving away set pieces. Counters are dying before they get going as well. Finding a little bit more space in the box than we were at Anfield, but struggling to find enough to create a proper chance. Whenever it goes above head height the move is basically dead.Ah. The old lolspurs disease.

i sincerely express my humblest sympathies to any fans who are witnessing their club being actively hollowed out before their eyes. league two is a wasteland even i cannot force myself to care about, and if you slip into that void know you always have a digital shoulder here to cry on (not really cos i cba wading through this thread, so write me a letter or summat).
a hint is also an apt term, without a proven goalscorer we are rudderless on our descent into midtable nothingness.
but our german owners shall carry us to a safe standing utopia - perhaps in the championship. and that day shall be a moderately glorious one.
part of me doesn't really want prem football, despite how satisfying a return would feel.

By everthustodeadbeats Go To PostSturridge, no.I've lost faith in him adapting to his loss of pace :(
Always seems to be on his heels, and he just isn't gegen. I'd still trust him to finish a good chance in the box, but he is struggling more and more to get them.
By Punished Go To PostSturridge has been seriously poor, even if he isn't being allowed any space. The annoying this is that he's decent enough at the sharp passing around the box that we need, but he's seemingly playing his own game and just moving into space that is very unlikely to be found.
I'm happy to see L1N3TT!
and he's now slowly but surely regaining his old beautiful soul because I see him accidentally dotting the end of his sentences!

I don't care about spoilers. Knowing what happens doesn't dilute any enjoyment I have. It's the how, not the what.
For instance (TFA spoilers in case anyone hasn't seen it yet but fuck y'all I ain't spoiler tagging)
Han's death worked really well for me because I knew it was coming, I could focus on Driver's performance, the build up and the aftermath without being like "holy shit Han's dead I am totally distracted"
Like, how do you watch films adapted from books you've read or whatever? Are you incapable of doing so because you know the twists?
I knew about the Red Wedding years before I read it. Still doesn't dilute how well Martin brings the chapters before and after together, how the penny drops, that sick feeling in your throat as shit goes wrong, the culmination of Cat's storyline that got kicked off in GOT. It all really really works, and it works better the second, third, fourth time because you can focus on how well Martin pulls it together, how well Abrams uses lighting and pacing to frame that scene, etcetera.

By Zabojnik Go To PostI would've preferred to go see the movie without knowing this minor fucking detail, but oh well.Zabo, you and I are so alike. You're my hero
This shit pisses me off to no end.
