United is chock full of those types. Ibra, Lingard, Pogba, Martial, all these dudes care way too much about their brand.
Ibrahimovic is cool in my book though, he's 35 and selling merch is just a tactic to extend his income out past his retirement.
People who are like 21 fucking years old should not be worried about pimping their brand.

Pogba and Lingard, well....
Pogba seriously needs to tone it down. It brings him shitload of pressure which he currently isnt equipped to handle yet.

It's 50/50 though. The club does actively encourage it from players they perceive as marketable in some way.
In the case of Pogba he is absolutely required to do it.
By Ciaran Go To PostHope Martial is next. His AM9 shenanigans rubbed me the wrong way
has an Inter Milan face
Oh hush, he's the saving grace of Man U and you know it.
Never been a fan of the social media stuff, With united its just another barometer to boast about numbers
The social media stuff doesnt bother me if you can back it up on the pitch
plus, its made football players seem more accessible, plus it rubs opposition fans the wrong way, it pays to have charismatic players to pull it off

The Martial AM9 fiasco was stupid. A fan met him while he was on a holiday, and said he didn't care about the number change and was surprised at hearing that papers reported that he was furious.
His agent and media team dropped the act a day after.

Worst thing about Ibra is that he successfully got people to call him Zlatan. He's much less insufferable than I thought he'd be. Can't hate that mix of needle and quality. Pogba on the other hand seems like more of a mascot than a player sometimes.
Final Nioh demo is up on UK PSN btw, can download it but might not be activated until the 21st, which is when Japan get their's

Pogba just had a bad game (as did many of our players), but he'll come good. Think he's still adapting to the pace of the PL and couldn't handle the press of Liverpool. Also looked like his head was gone after the 1v1 miss and then the Dab penalty.
Hopefully he grabs a goal vs Stoke and shows the L'pool game hasn't effected him. Has done very well the past couple months and needs to kick on.

what's with me and exclamation marks!
tbf to Zlatan he's clearly a self-aware 'character' and he's monetizing it before retirement :lol

Still yet to see anything to suggest Northern Ireland won't get totally fucked in Brexit.
By Diego! Go To PostHopefully the FA do the right thing and suspend Pogba for 3 games for violent behaviourBut that would be doing United a favour.
Its funny how people are foaming at the gash to slate pogba off, not allowed to have a bad game, otherwise that price tag (which seems to increase with each recall) is thrown around.

Man Utd: 368.7m
Arsenal: 205.9m

I think I read Alonso is going to join the Board of Directors.

It's fucking tragic seeing him lead the Labour party down into the largest of dumpster fires at a time when they could really be cleaning up if they were in the slightest bit competent.
By Laboured Go To PostHe is.To be fair, it's not just him. The rest of the shadow cabinet have been terrible with backstabbing and in-fighting in a time when they should be cleaning up in the polls.
