By jts Go To PostYou wouldn't recognize the Nike logo by itself if you didn't know the brand, from years of exposure.
That's why this one is mostly applied with "Juventus" on the top for now. Once it gets some recognition, they can let the training wheels go away some more.
I think it's a classy modern logo/brand that will certainly look better on a regular clothing and merchandise than a traditional football crest. Although, I have to admit I prefer a regular football club crest on an actual football shirt, and Juve's latest one was updated enough and good looking.
No biggie. It's good to experiment. I'm sure they will not completely let go of the traditional crest.
i think that's why i don't like it. i like sports stuff to look like sports stuff. not some trendy starbucks'd out look. it does look good on all the other stuff (the iphone cases. the wall display) posted so far. the crest was just so slick though.
By Ciaran Go To PostJuve is opening the J-village and the hotels in the summer so it makes sense to introduce it now I guess
can you imagine a hotel with a football logo? Not many logos can pull that off.
the PL logos are mostly nice as far as brands go, like United's devil is really cool by its own and same for Chelsea's lion
I guess we could've just kept the bull, but we already had a bull-only logo briefly! (and it was brilliant)
i wish we'd use the devil more on things like the warmup pants.
By Laboured Go To PostTrouble with Costa is that he turns 29 in October. That makes getting silly amounts for him that much harder.🇧🇷 🛫 🇨🇳
29 is the new 19 in China.
By Slizz Go To PostDoes Wooden live Avenged Sevenfold?
I don't really care much about them, boring music, typical fuckboi de gea stuff.
But they were behind one of the more hilarious feuds against Dillinger
"During 2006 a rivarly of sorts popped up between M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold and Greg Puciato of The Dillinger Escape Plan, via the internet. In an interview, Shadows said that DEP "make shitty noises and try to pass it off as music." Greg responded on the band's Myspace profile by stating, ""What about bands that make shitty noise and try to pass it off as Guns N' Roses?", and also poking fun at the stage names of Avenged Sevenfold members, "This guy and his merry band of musical clowns get more hilarious by the minute. M. Shadows' real name is Matt Sanders or some shit. With that in mind, Dillinger say they've decided to change their stage names in derision. So, in his honor, our new names are officially as follows: G. Piranha, Blaster Master Weinman, Bullwhip Benoit, Corpsefucker Pennie [and] Leafeater Wilson. Those are going to be the names on our new CD — 100 percent serious."
By Laboured Go To PostMatt Law says Conte has already identified Morata as the man to replace Costa next summer. It's going to be Lukaku for whatever amount we sell Costa. We'll just forward that check right over to Everton.
By Slizz Go To PostSo did they use those names on the CD?
No. They just kept talking shit and got hilariously much attention from avenged sevenfold fans for a while. Just like when Creed and Jared Leto got upset about them. But they dressed up as them on MTV, which MTV then refused to air. :(
This is why I only watch Fox News, where my news and bands are fair and balanced.
(still one of the strangest combination of tv channel and band)
By inky Go To PostI didn't know Klopp was part of Avenge Sevenfold.
Looking at those photos at first, I thought that was what I was supposed to see as well.

oh degea, you crazy metal head
Best PL logo is Liverpool's pure liver bird one (not the gates and fire and shit) or Swansea. I like elegant birds m8.
Worst is... I dunno. Norwich's was hilariously shit. Burnley's is boring. West Ham looks like some communist shit.
Silence is gud. Looks incrivel. Mostly good acting, especially the Japanese lads. Last hour or so is sublime. Good beard game all round.

By Laboured Go To PostSome suggestion City could be in for Willy Carvalho this month.Overrated as fuck, hence why no one has purchased him yet. Pep still hasn't learned.

OK, I laughed.
I laughed too, and it also prompted me to re-download GTA V (I know that’s IV).

Red Bull has ruled out a takeover of Coventry City in the immediate future following online rumours that the energy drinks giant was interested in the Sky Blues.
The Telegraph approached Red Bull to see if the firm was interested in taking over Coventry City.
In response, it released a statement which read: “Buying a football club does not fit our marketing mix for 2017/18.”

The only reason Morata is being mentioned is because we're in for Courtois, the Madrid papers have already begun the momentum.
No way we let go of Morata.

Yaya Touré has rejected an offer worth £430,000-a-week from China to stay at Manchester City, according to the BBC.

great resume of Mario Gomez football career
http://www.theplayerstribune.com/mario-gomez-wolfsburg-germany/
I was four years old and I didn’t really know what I was doing. All I knew was that I had the ball at my feet and I wanted to score a goal. So I started dribbling up the field and all my teammates began to yell my name.
“Mario! Mario! Mario!”
I took the ball further up the field.
“Marioooooooooo!”
What’s wrong with them? Why do they want me to pass? None of the defenders wanted to take me on. I had a clear path to the goal.
“Mario!” Even the parents were yelling my name now. “You’re going the wrong way! Mario, nooooo!”
I didn’t understand that there was a right way to go. I just saw a goal, and I wanted to kick the ball into it.
great resume of Mario Gomez football career
btw, the article is really interesting. Worth a read for sure.
But I still had a long way to go. There’s a lot that goes into making a striker. The first coach who really changed my career was Giovanni Trapattoni. When he came to Stuttgart, he didn’t say a word to us younger guys. Not one word. He was friendly, but all we ever got was a “good morning,” or, once we had finished training, a “good night.”
Weeks went by. Nothing. Not a smile. Not even a thumbs-up.
And then about four weeks after he arrived, Giovanni asked me to come by his office after practice. I had no idea what he wanted to see me about.
“Listen, Mario,” he said, “I’ve been watching you for a few weeks now and I’m really impressed, but I think we can work on some things. And if we can fix those other things, then you’ll be the next striker for the German national team.”
By Perfect Blue Go To PostOverrated as fuck, hence why no one has purchased him yet. Pep still hasn't learned. We rejected bids for around 30M€, that's why he hasn't been sold. Willy C definitely isn't overrated, he was a key part of the Portugal squad who won the Euro, he is slow but strong as hell and very difficult to muscle him out of the ball, he is been consistent. He is ready to make the jump.
Matip will "definitely miss" tomorrow's FA Cup replay against Plymouth and the game against Swansea in the EPL. Could then miss up to 4 more fixtures.
What a time to be a bureaucrat.

can he pass?
