I think the logo looks fine. Juve are embracing the eventual death of physical ball kicking and will lead us into an e-sports future.
By Auto Simeone Go To PostEsports is where the money at. I'm investing on EvilGeniuses to take all the championships.
Should have gone with North m8
Apparently we're looking at Kieran Tierney from Celtic. Could be signing him in this window.
He supposedly played well against City in the Champions League.

By LFMartins86 Go To Postrvy, which Yakuza is going to have Virtua Fighter? I want to get that one.Hmm, I'm not sure if 0 and Kiwami (Yakuza 1 remake) have VF5: FS. I know Yakuza 5 does and Yakuza 6 does too.
There's nothing inherently wrong with the logo, it's not an eyesore or anything - but it does sort of look like they're launching a clothing line rather than a new club mark.
Eh... Whatever. It'll grow on me.

The logo doesn't remind me of Juve. Which is a huge plus. Until it starts reminding me of Juve.
Other than that it's bland and boring as shit.

What should I expect from Yakuza 0? Only played a couple, 1 and 3 or 4, I think. I always liked the series overall, but I couldn't deal with some of its more archaic aspects. I remember everything taking for-fucking-ever and feeling like it belonged in games from 10 years earlier. And of course I didn't care about 90% of the side bullshit. I realize this makes it sound like I'm not Yakuza's target customer, but I rather enjoyed the stories, characters, locations and combat system. Have they streamlined / modernized the series at all or is it just better graphicz & shit? Your report, please, rvy.
I like logos and brands that connect with their history and exhude some level of retro look and feel. The new Juventus logo doesn't accomplish this, like at all.
By Perfect Blue Go To PostI love this man. I'm convinced he's a psychopath.
Antonio Conte on the thought of one of his players not giving him 100% effort: "I prefer to kill him and play with 22 players."
juve must've had that logo ready before pogba left. looks like something he'd have cut into his hair.

Have they streamlined / modernized the series at all or is it just better graphicz & shit? Your report, please, rvy.I only played the demos of 0 and 6, I don't have much experience to confirm anything with those. Both games seem to have evolved in some ways (especially the combat and traversing the World), but still retain their essence. Yakuza 5 was the last game I finished. I sort of disliked (not really the right word) 4 because of the multiple characters. It felt like whenever you got somewhere important, the game just decided to switch characters and have you get to the same point from another character's perspective. It dragged on a bit and I was exhausted by the end. But the combat and boss fights made up for it. Yakuza 5 is sort of the same in that regard, but by then you've grown accustomed to both Akiyama and Saejima, so it's not such a huge departure from playing as Kiryu.
I'm not sure what you mean by other aspects as fighting and advancing the story/bosses is pretty much the majority of what you do in Yakuza, if you disregard the side-quests/don't explore the World.

The combat system and characters and all that should still be great but I don't think the primary gameplay loop of cutscene, load, fight, cutscene, load, free time for side stuff, fight, cutscene, load, etc. is changed. If you felt the previous games were archaic I doubt much has changed with 0.
They're still incredibly fun games though. I think in this one you're supposed to be able to chat with Japanese porn stars like Anri Okita lol

Why should I care, Perfect Blue. Forushande it to me.
I remember liking A Separation a lot, haven't seen anything else by the director. Judging by the trailers ... he sure likes family drama a lot.

About Elly is better than A Separation, which itself is a fantastic film.
I love Farhadi, but would almost like him try to be a bit more ambitious.
Love all his films, but ready for him to try something new.
Prefer A Separation to About Elly.
I like The Past also, but it's my least fav.

Watched all 3 seasons of Peaky Blinders over the weekend and tonight. What a ride. I guess I can trust n8's taste in something.
When you guys talk about movies it makes me realize how many good ones I've missed. I haven't seen even one Farhadi movie.
The link about Monster Trucks' terrible test screenings with children made me curious so I watched the trailer and it looked, I dunno... not bad?
Seems the reception for it is more mixed than universally awful. NYT liked it a lot. Nowhere near the top of my list to watch but I do love monsters.

Ljajic's time in Italy is just fucking tragic :lol PUNCHED on live TV by his manager Delio Rossi, binned by Inter, Roma and Viola and was banned for a while from playing for Serbia by Mihajlović for not singing the anthem
and now he plays again for Mihajlović in Torino

Anyone else get a bit queasy at these football banter accounts doing these "lol AFCON" posts? I feel like they come from a fundamentally mean spirited and phobic place.
Also that footage isn't even from AFCON, just fyi.
So after we made Pogba the worlds most expensive footballer last summer we are about to make Griezmann the worlds most expensive footballer this summer.
So who is next in line to join #TheGreatestFootballStoryEverTold in summer 2018?

From Michael Gove's column in the Times.
We were whisked up to the President - Elects office in a lift played with reflective golden panels and operated by an immensely dignified African American attendant kitted out in frock coat and white cotton glovesTrying so hard to be subtly racist that it just screams racist.
