The Rafa problem is, I think, our most serious and perhaps unsolvable one right now. Clearly, Rafa isn't a manager who will be winning us a scudetto, nor do I think we'll be making any serious challenges in the CL with him. But I don't know that we have the clout or funds to bring in anyone clearly superior.

I don't think Napoli as a club has plateaued yet, but I do think we may have reached our limit under Rafa. Our squad, with the exception of our defence (whom I've entirely lost hope in as a functioning unit), is capable of so much more than what we've been achieving for a large chunk of this season.

We had a thoroughly demoralizing mercato last summer, and I think that decapitated our chances against Athletic in the CL qualifiers; but I suspect we had no other choice because of the amortization of transfer fees from the previous summer and the non-guarantee of CL funds (if ADL had gambled the other way, we may have needed to sell someone like Callejon).

Honestly, I think we have excellent chances next season, but it'll require rebuilding our defence and either rehabilitating or replacing Jorginho. In the longer term, we also need a new stadium and some more lucrative sponsors.

Site looks great on mobile but it's a bit clumsy on my computer. The side navigation panel is wasted space most of the time. If any of the owners or whatever need a hand with design, I'd be glad to help out in my free time.

I'm aware that this site doesn't want to be another Bore which whines about anything GAF related. So this will be my only post on the matter. Some posters over there are absolute weirdos. That iPad return thread took the cake.

I'm convinced that there are some whose entire life revolves around the site and have thus become so emotionally and developmentally stunted that they seek further refuge on GAF which reinforces the weirdness.

Rodgers seems to do this thing where he leaves players who aren't performing out of the team for a couple of months, then they come back really good.

Moreno, Mignolet, Sterling and Henderson are a few examples.
