Sim City 4 + mods (even though it had to be one of the most abhorrent terrible mod communities in existence) is still a GOAT tier game. and I respect Spore, even though it very clearly failed to live up to the ridiculous amount of hype. Hard to really blame what's happened with Maxis on anyone other than EA.
