His touch, passing and shooting is well off though. Positively Falcish today. Routine touches bouncing away from him or 4 foot into the air, giving them simple interceptions with underhit passes, and not connecting cleanly with his strikes.
I'm sure he'll be back to normal soon, but we're kind of relying on the players behind him to provide the end product while he shakes the rust off. At some point that will probably dry up though, which is when we'll need him to provide.
At the moment he's basically replicating Sterling, only worse at passing and more willing to play on the shoulder and wait for through balls.
You can tell that once he's back on form, this attacking unit will be incredible though. The numbers on the page make it seem like we'd be short of numbers in attack, but that's not the case when we play like this.

He's had a few fine moments, but for the most part he's been sloppy and indecisive on the ball. If you want to argue that Young should have been subbed first, fine. They've both been poor though.
