Matt Barnes is loved by a lot of his team mates while on the team. But if the one thing "GM Cousins" did was get Barnes a contract then.... yeah. Pure narative. Because outside of not getting traded, none of their personnel moves seem to be particularly driven by his desires.
DMC and IT didn't. The few times it's come up they haven't spoken about it with fondness but refuse to trash each other (well, IT said a few things in PHX).
But we can equate speculation and evidence as the same thing if it helps drive a narative. Sure.

I kind of think you sell high on Blake if you could... But if I let one walk maybe it is Blake.. CP3 made the team legit... And players around the league seem to like and respect him despite his floppy ways. If I planned to reload with FA then I keep CP3.. Never been a fan of the tank for the sake of tanking..
