Demarcus already plays like its 90s ball. That was the knock against him and his personality. Then he developed every offensive tool in the game as well.

I watched 90s basketball too
An old criticism of Cousins game was that he was a player from a past era of low post big men. That his attitude was from the past.

No, the argument was he shouldn't take jumpers at all.

People didn't want him firing if he wasn't pick n rolling or posting up. Now he kills teams on all the same plays Lowe complains about in this article.

The transition should be easier on offense, where Cousins too often undermines his own talents with hilariously bad judgment. He fancies himself a long-range shooter, but he cannot shoot very well. Cousins shot 32 percent on a totally irresponsible 5.2 long 2-point jumpers per 40 minutes last season, per Hoopdata.com; among 117 players who jacked at least 3.5 such shots per 40 minutes, only Rudy Gay, Anthony Davis, and Michael Kidd-Gilchrist hit a lower percentage than Big Cuz.
This should be simple: If there are more than 10 seconds left on the shot clock, you are not allowed to take a jumper longer than 15 feet. Period.

By etiolation Go To Post. Now he kills teams on all the same plays Lowe complains about in this article. He shoots worse now from 3 to 16 feet now than he did when that article was written. He is not killing anyone from mid-range. Was good of him to add the 3 ball though because like many C's he trails on a lot of plays and gets left wide open. Probably likes it a bit too much at times.

He takes less midrange jumpers and is less in a position to take them. He can still hit them. The three point shot opened up his drive game. There's not a good defense vs Cousins despite gooning him up and hoping the refs hate him still.
Yes, he is prime Shaq and there is just no defending him. The league will forever be at his mercy of his teams 30 wins.
By blackace Go To PostWell they signed Barnes because he likes him…Its nowhere as bad Dwight in Orlando. Now that was some shit...
Barnes didn't get a huge contract or require a trade to bring in.

It's truly baffling. After a 6-4 start, 4-13 since then. I thought it was bad luck/injuries/scheduling, but these losses to the Knicks and the Kings have been inexcusable. We're at least a year away from 8th seed contention.

Give them a couple more weeks to get fixed up and they can turn this back around and keep the team competitive for a playoff spot.

Lies ... lol
You thought we would go 1-12 with the possibility of another 1-12 somewhere in our schedule. I expected injuries to take a toll, but I was hoping to see a bounce back to being competitive once guys healed. That's not happening.
Pascal Siakim would probably win RotY if Joel Embiid didn't count.
... This has been a pretty slow-starting rookie class.

Thought their ceiling was about 30 wins for the year, they're about on pace for that now. I expected them to be horrible out of the gate due to their tough schedule and then improve as the year went on, hasn't really happened like that but they're still on track to hit my optimistic win ceiling.

I think they'll get better again. Losing games seems to have affected the teams mentality. I hope luke can get them out of the funk.
Sabonis hasn't been bad, but he's on pace for the worst season in NBA history with regards to drawing fouls.
